Ninjas pretty much suck and nobody is going to agree on buffing their HP because of their elusive skills and Final Strike is always going be used as an additional argument against HP bonuses to them even being completely worthless ;P i personally tried them once cause they look nice and have interesting skills, but i gave up for that specific reason! i guess they're stuck to being Shuriken spamming grasshoppers ;P

Like i said, they don't have much synergy going on to be properly used together xD Hence why i think SG needs a boost; it works nice on its own, so it has to be strong on its own. The best thing to go with SG would be a Jupitel Thunder IF the enemy freezes ;P

It would appear that this is an abreviation for 'Sprite Editor'; A-Basicly, to execute a skill, your character has to make a movement, this movement is its animation. No matter how many kiels you put on, whats your aspd and how fast you can press your buttons and how good is your Ping, the character WILL remain stuck in that animation for a fixed amount of time and therefore compromissing its spam. Every skill has its animation delay, but some are really low(Bolts, Double Strifing), some are average(Heal, Blessing, Asura), some are high(Thunder Storm, Arrow Shower), some are severe(Safety Wall, Pneuma, Gospel) and some are extremely severe(Sonic Blow, Arrow Vulcan) A sprite Editor is a person who alters their own client in some of the grf files in order to alter the way his character responds to this animation delays on the skill animation, skipping part of this delays allowing for larger spams. If you see someone spamming 5+ Sonic Blows/Arrow Vulcans in a single streak, this person is a spritter/sprite editor. B-After the explanation is gets obvious why it should be reported; someone making illegal alterations to the normal client in order to obtain unfair advantage that cannot be obtained otherwise. In other words, this person is a cheater. C-Because these people are douchebags that think they're god's gift to humanity or the last cookie of the package i suppose. Ignore them, that's how you hurt a person with overinflated egos; don't acknowledge their existence. If you're playing right without any cheats and know you're not doing anything illegal, accept their tears of rage as compliments to your superior skill ;D

How to keep the server interesting...hnnn...oh yeah! Nerf GTB! :D Well seriously...its been very long since the last 'nerf gtb' pool was made, how about making another?

MS and SG don't have much synergy going on; SG knocks people around in random directions, by many times knocking you out of its own area, while MS has a smaller area of effect and needs a start up; by the time the first meteor connects after MS's cast, SG would have probably knocked the target off the area.

My hint for you woulld be... lower 17 points of your int and put it into vit. INT gives you a great deal of Matk bonues each time it reaches a multiple of 10, lower at least 7 that way you get a 293+107, as it is right there, you're wasting a good 224 stat points that could get you around 10~15k HP plus. Quickly invest on a F shield it is very worth it. Don't use Raydrics, gets skollls, many people other than champs kill you because of thanatos card. Use your safety wall against asura-happy pricks, and get another armor to put in two orc lord cards; if you're about to get an asura to the face, put it on, next time they'll think twice about asuraing you with all their strength, and if they use the weak version you can easily survive on GR. Against champs switch them back and forth to keep them on their toes. Quagmire Snipers/Guns/Clowns; my hint is, do not maxmize your quagmire, let it level 3 so you can constantly re-cast it when they move; at level 3 it lasts shorter and can be cast 3 times instead of only 2). Quigmire holds them well and cuts their DEX(and theus damage). Quagmire was recently modified to affect even people on GTB so learn to love it. Energy Coat always and keep your SP full for it to save your hide. Carry Gems to use Gambaiten; Profs might ME when you start using your meteor storm, cast as much as you can and Gamba when the timing's right, they might die if you do it right. Get a scarf when voting's back up, much better than ruckie specially since you take off the F set for lack of spare F parts. Get a maya card to fight profs, quagmire them too; they can't spam with their DEX lowered, and ganba their force fields. i'd recomend kingrings instead of Red Ferus so that you have a wider arsenal than just Meteor Storm. Carry a bit of BoS or Water/Fire Verters to tickle people with Stave Crasher. One strategy i like is to cast Deluge/Volcano, Safety Wall then surround myself with 3 quagmires, works wonders against meelees. Train a bit your AoE placing ^^ i also like sinx card; its perfect to evade punishment when people GTB and force them to enter your quagmires in order to reveal you, then again it might be a bit hard to manage 3 cloaks 2 armors and shoes so, choose wisely ^^ Play defensively if the duel is 1 on 1, Safety Wall, Cloaking, Quagmire... i really hope you can get the better gears soon ^^

:/ ...balance huh? Let me tell you one thing about AoE spells, one atribute they have that only a magic user can understand after trying it out; Stacking. LoV and Storm Gust don't stack, what does it mean? Simple; if you have 57 wizzards spamming storm gust in a single spot, only one is gonna hit, it has a fixed speed of one second between hits. It means even if you're under an area that is being bombarded with 57 storm gusts, you will only recieve one 500% matck hit(that's half the damage of a cold bolt) of water property every 1 second and freeze in the third. In other words; It doesn't matter how spammable Storm Gust can get, you always will be hit in that fashion even if there's thousands of Storm Gusts acting upon you, you will recieve one hit each 1 second, and that's all. And no one dies from a single hit of 50k every 1 second, you have time enough to use 12 yggs before the next hit.

Yeah itens can be used while mounted, but if you use any skill they dismount automaticly, so you won't see any mounted Sinxes using Cloaking or anything xD Besides the bonus walking speed doesn't stack with speed potions or even Increase AGI.

Just give them more HP and +Damage to Storm Gust/Heaven's Drive/Lord of Vermillion plox. :3 Storm Gust one shotting people...that guy was on Strong Shield+Maya and Double Devilings waiting for a JT wasn't it?

Edu buddy, that might be the case on for_fild01, but if you want, you can make full-for_fild-annoying soul linker like this naturally. But WoE castles kicks you out even if you're on kaizel and furthermore, the skill cannot be cast inside the castles, Kaizel is naturally forbidden on every pvp related event, and a soul linker doing this on PvP arena is also void because of the feeding. Resume; its just a 4fun thingy, wouldn't have that much practical usage. @Bishop; agreed Heaven's Drive sounds better as an AoE for them, but then again maybe along with a 30% damage bonus to it? @Veracity; let us just discuss things on this separate thread, if the ideas for the weapon seen to be liked, it should be posted on the Valkyrie weapon thread, this way, it becomes more organized. :3 Just a thought.

i agree, even if just symbolic and easily dodged(making new character...), it would at least be there and show that...somebody cares? i don't know. i have some ideas to make things more organized in this regard, but would require GMs actively paying much more attention to the laddering.

Guys, you forget the fact that FRO is a PvP/PK server of high rate and highly customizable with little to none worth in PvM. RO made GTB to be a super freaking rare card(on kRO there's 4 of them in circulation 3 belong to the same guy, iRO and bRO banned it for ebing too powerful/cheap), in here it is a bread & butter. As the server changes what RO was created to be originally, so needs to do all the classes to fit the new perspective, otherwise they get left behind in the evolutionary cicle...lol That being said, i wouldn't agree to have all ES skills being usable on players, Eska would be a incredibly crippling debuff and Eske would be an overpowered buff, so these two shouldn't be allowedd. Eswoo would be a funny skill to use and very usefull on woe giving SLs more utility there. Estin, Estun and Esma would be a great thing for SLs to be able to use on people tho, and would never be too OP because there's always GTB. My opinion on the skills, in the extremely remote and basicly nonexistent hypothesis on the modification to the skills. But i believe if soul linkers had more HP and the ability to use one AoE spell too along with the bolts, like Storm Gust, they would be able to be less agressive-more supportive wizzards, giving them some utility in the long run. The Staff for Soul Linkers could give a 100% reduction on cast time, this way they could use Kaizel with no cast, i believe Kaizel is a skill that makes Soul Linkers loved; plus no need of DEX in the build = more vit, there the HP bonus comes naturally. i think +HP would be the best improvement though.

Magic time! <3 1-Hnnn...of all things...i think Stave Crasher is pretty spammy as is...doesn't really need any reductions on delay, you might be talking about its sprite delay and that's something that cannot be avoided. 2 kiels on aspd 195 is more than enough to spam it like crazy, but i like to compare Stave Crasher with another skill with similar atributes; Throw Stone! They both can be spammed just alike and deal about the same damageand range, the only advantage of Stave is that it doesn't require a catalyst! 2-i'd agree on implementation of weapon cards for wizzards that buff damages of Storm Gust, Lord of Vermillion and Heaven's Drive. Meteor Storm already has a powerful card to help it so that one is fine! In my opinion, Storm Gust, Heaven's Drive, Lord of Vermillion and Meteor Storm are the heart of the wizzard class. 3-i'd looooooooooooooooove to do that, but most jerks...err...i mean...players think its all fine to keep GTB to its full potency on a freaking high rate server that has 10% mvp card drop and each mvp card is barely 2,50$ per donation, while nerfing the hell out of Deviling just because people would be immune to asura with two on cloak so they go and nerf it to 30% only even if the backlash from deviling is dozens of times more severe than GTB's, how nice huh? As if the game mechanics themselves weren't enough to screw magic users over, the server's customization is also out to help on that. So that ain't happening. 4-Sure. i really know only 3 good wizzards that actually participate on things like PvP and WoE. (Emphasis on 'GOOD') Bonus: screw stave crasher that thing is useless, if someone GTB and its one on one, just get out, use sinx card and speed potions if you must. You know what the 'most skilled magic users' of the server do when people use GTB on them? They say 'lol' and walk away, so that's precisely what you need to do! Best...strategy...ever!!! :3

i just love how he worded it xD Kittie has a point, buffs galore and everyone can do a heck load of damages, while damage goes through the roof, the surviving factors don't keep up with it. But in all, i do believe all hell broke lose with the implementation of the hideout buffer already so might as well give chances for everyone equally~ It certainly seems it'll be for the benefit of the community; if the point is token drain, i believe a smaller but constant drain like this can do it nicely. Also yes, it seems all buffs from the hideout come at maximum level. i.e. ; Blessing-Increase Agility come on Lv 10, Assumptio-Impositio Manus-Adrenaline-Gloria on level 5 and so on. Enlarging on the Toten idea, i think i might have something to add that might help; There could be 4 types of said 'totens' each with a price a buffs available. *Bronze Toten-cheapest, has is usefulness focused on buffs that help hunting. Buffs granted-Blessing, Increase Agility, Wind Walker, Angelus and Magnificat. Suggested Price- 1 Donation Token per hour on the inventory, 10 tokens for 12 hours. *Silver Toten-a more offensive PvP-oriented bufingf toten. Buffs granted-Same as Bronze and plus Attention Concentrate, Gloria, Impositio Manus, Sufragium, Weapon Perfection, Maximize Power, Overthrust, ASPD Potion and Loud Exclamation. Suggesteed Price- 3 Donation tokens per hour on the inventory, 30 tokens for 12 hours. *Golden Toten-a full buffing toten. Buffs granted-Same as Silver and plus Melt Down, Kaite, Kaahi, Kaupe, Kaizel, Endure, Concentration, Aura Blade and True Sight. Suggested Price- 5 Donation tokens per hour on the inventory, no discont for hours in bulk. *Platinum Totem-toten of all buffs and then some more. Buffs granted-Same as Golden and plus All stat food buffs. Suggested Price- 7 Donation tokens per hour on the inventory. Just an idea... I'm not sure where to fit Assumptio...

Having used the buffs myself i can say; its very overpowered. Then again, it comes with the price. Its a necessary evil as it was explained, token drainer. It was good enough to convince the staff to at least remove a couple buffs however, it was worse before believe me x3 Must be rough on the newer players, but hang in there. Its all for the sake of improving the economy, so this just might have a good reflection to newer players in the long run; being able to sell higher some goods and wares you manage to farm. Besides, little by little the staff is working on easier means to help newer players become stronger in a faster way ^^ Although i think giving the hideout a rest sometimes would be good. The hideout system is a kind of 'rent', in which guilds bid to be able to have the hideout for a certain period, so it could be like...a guild holds the hideout for said period, then after it expires, one period without the hideout, then another bid...so on. <guild x has hideout><no guild has hideout><guild y has hideout><no guild has hideout><guild z has hideout><no guild has hideout>....so on. Just a thought.

i really like the idea, finaly give stalkers their MAIN build to use effectively? Heck yeah xD The STR Sword you made, i plainly agree to everything in it, just i'd change 500% for 400%. 500% is equal to 6x the damage inflicted, i believe 400%(5x more damage) is enough to get barely past 100k on damage with it, i believe in a STR focused build. Its a fair amount of damage for a skill that has absolutly no means of being spammed(even asura strike can be spammed or used in a faster fashion than a Back Stab combo). The %+ HP i believe its fair...it puts them up to par with their ranged counterpart. More HP vs Reductions. i'm against a meelee weapon with damage based on DEX however, the advantages of a DEX build are far too great(infalible HIT and lots of extra stat points), and if such was to happen, every meelee based character(champs, sinx, LordKnights, WhiteSmiths...) would also want their weapons to be DEX based giving Enlarge Weight Limit to them. i have nothing against improving said card. Please do, i'd like to see more useful cards to use :3

Well if i may call it that way, it was a benefic bug ;p The fixment threw a lot of classes back into the one-hit KO Era. The quest for balance is trial and error, and that was an error that came for good of balance, specially true for the wizzard class. So basicly asking for keeping the 'mistake' and make it official and not a bug? At least for the wizzard class.

i'm in agreement. Out of all the classes that were really affected but the recent fix on tao. Wizzards are by far the ones that got the heaviest blow. i'm aware that Tao seemed to have a slight problem and its bonus was like 100% instead of the 60% that were proposed. But really, the 'problem' was no problem at all. It gave a very fair amount of HP to classes that really needed it, allowing them to survive one hit-kills they previously couldn't. And now, they once again are unable to do it. It's fine if the fix is to affect stalkers, slingers and snipers seeing as their HP formulas were good enough to allow them to retain their ability to survive one shots frim single Full-Asuras even with the fix to tao now. With a bit of pain, as a professor player, i can also agree to the fix for professors, our HP formula is a bit better than wizzards, and with some sacrifice we can still barely make it. But i ask that please it is reconsidered keeping the "mistake" for wizzards at least.
