How come Snipers can use a bow and a shield?

  Because the bows have a trigger similar to guns, thus letting your offhand be free to hold anything, including your gentleman's area. /gg

  Because this is a game. Or if you want a realistic answer, because they can. Historically, some archers use shields that does not need to be held, either by using a light shield that can be strapped on the arm holding the bow.
