-__- don't you dare come to with that attitude, just because I blocked you from sending me PM's. You talk of respect, you're showing me none. I'm getting a GM in here, the end. Just let them be the way they wanna be. Some of them admittedly go looking for trouble, that doesn't mean you should too. If you keep this up I'm not going to protect you, Ryoji, even if you're my friend. Help me help you and just PM a GM. It'll help much more than to respond to w/e useless posts. And you.re a lewzer /lv

Let's stop the flaming right now. I don't care if there's a damn repair anywhere, but obviously that's not what this topic is about anymore. Don't flame each other. Ryoji just don't talk to them. they don't know how you act. Half the time he's joking and it sounds like he's serious. And if anyone does flame, i'll go to a GM.

I don't consider what Geldaz said as flame. It's very natural that when someone new to kyokushin watches fights, all they see is sensless moves. But I know many people who kept watching, prominently Ricky, and now he sees it. These world tournaments are for real. Anyone of us would get knocked out cold, guaranteed. In other terms, Kyokushin is the strongest Karate because it's real. It's none of that facy pansy kick punch hiya thing. It,s real hits. Those knockouts were full force, full strength. These guys don't hold back. Mas Oyama (our founder) took moves from various martial arts he practiced and saw and refined it to make it real. Real as in, you can use it on the street. From what I see of kickboxing vs Kyokushin, Kyokushin is more an artform, family, thing. I mean all I ever see them do is hit each other x__x I've been places with Kyokushin and even the people who beat each other up love each other lol. Of course there are fancier things, but it all has a purpose that can be put to use. And if you're wondering how strong this karate actually is, would you really want to get hit with one of those tibias? Because they train them to be like steel. If you want to defend yourself Geldaz, then anything you learn in Kyokushin will help you. Swear. Even the basic movements that look all...wierd at first, are actually movements against an opponent. I've never heard of Bas Rutten. I'll look him up later on youtube. But I'm sure Filho could give him an unforgettable match. ps...i'm reading over y initial post...good lord I have so many stupid spelling mistakes....sigh...

K so in brief, I've been doing Kyokushin Karate for a couple years + A few months ago I got kicked several times in the knee during fight night, even though I warned my partner her kicks were too low, and she did it one too many times, too hard, and I was down with a severly bruised bone. I was out of commission for a while, but now I'm pretty much ok and back again. My spirit for the art was gone for several months for reasons other than my knee. I finally regained my ground and made my move, and I discovered the flame for kyokushin is still with me. As sentimental as this sounds, you don't know what it feels liek to train Kyokushin until you do it, it's absolutely fantastic for anyone who can take getting hit, grueling workouts, and a wonderful family. I might fly to Vancouver to participate in a three days Seminar run by Shihan Bobby Lowe, one of the best kyokushinkai out there. Basically my drive is back and I'm a happier person for it. I wanted to share a couple youtube videos with highlights etc from Kyokushin. At the beginnin of the video you'll see black and white images and video. That's a young Mas Oyama (read brief history below), wrestling bulls. He fought 52 in total, and killed three. The rest got their horns cut off with knife hand blows. However his first attempt got him nothing but an angry bull, that gored him. He managed to bull the bull off, cut off the horn and lived after being bed ridden for 6 months. <---make sure yo catch the last 2mins XD <--watch this one if you wanna appreciate the art of reading your oppenent. This is the only Worl Kyokushin Tournament where a non Japanese fighter won. Brief History: Kyokushin was founded by Sosai Mas Oyama. He opened his first dojo in 1955. The drop out rat was over 90% (in those days bare knickle full-contact hits were permitted tot he face). Oyama took things from every style he saw (he participate din many when he was younger) and refined them all to his technique and created a new martial art based on spirit, strength and humility. At the age of 23 Oyama went into solitude in the mountains with his mentor's encouragements. His two year stay was cut short when his sponsor lacked the funds. A few months later he went to a new location to complete his two years; he trained every day for 12 hours with no off day. His training consisted of breaking river stones with his bare hands, punching trees full force, and repeating techniques thousands of times. When he came back to civilization he was confident. He challenged anyone, the majority of those people got knocked out with one hit. The common word was that is you blocked a punch to the ribs, your arm was broken or dislocated. If you let the punch in, your ribs were broken. He became knows as the God hand. He completed the 300 man kumite (fight) in one day and beat all of them. He only stopped around 300 because there was no one left to challenge him. Mas Oyama died in 1994, of lung cancer. Even though I had no control over it at the time, I'll forever regret not meeting him. Fact: Sean connory is a third degree kyokushin black belt. He was awarded that belt by Oyama himself. Fact: Nelson Mandela is a kyokushin black belt Fact: Dolph Lundgren (the russian fighter in the Rocky movie), is a black belt in kyokushin.

Well I actually got a very nice house that my mom bought recently. We're moving in sometime this summer. It's two mins walk from the river. We have a big front yard and back yard. The backyard will have a garden pond and fruit bushes i'll be planting. But here are some pics of inside the house. Keep in mind that some of the paint and furniture isn't ours. Some if it is staying tho. I can watch tv in that shower, AND order pizza. But my perfect dream house? a beautiful house on the beach, in a perfect climate. Huge green land in back, where I can have a couple Arabian horses, a pool, and my own garden, and TONS of flowers. My bf would live with me and we'd be quite isolated, but not that far from town. No picture I found is the kind of house I want, so just imagine it...<3

Dama, I've had so many liars above me, irl and in this game. Fortunately I don't know of any on fro...and I would rather not know tbh. No I don't want a liar, but I also don't want a power hungry moron, or a cheater, or an abuser, or anything like that. But understand that no one is going to impress 100% of the crowd, so you have to let the little things go. I think Hiei had her heart in the right place. And a little thing about grammar. I watched a youtube video where a Chinese scientist was talking about super novas. I hard a hard time understanding his english, but he was so unbelievably smart. A person's grammer shouldn't always count....imo
-
omg you all respond so fast But I don't think you understand what I mean. Of course a person that doesn't know left from right on RO shouldn't be a GM. But if they know where npc's are, where this and that is, basic pvp, basic char builds etc, plus have the good grammar you suggest and manners, why would they be anything less than an applicant who knows all the nooks of pvp?
-
If you want more QQing all you need to do is ask us! No need to make it BIG BOLD LETTERS ZOMG!!! hai Genesis :D @request QQ
-
one thing I have to counter: If a GM holds amazing events and tries to help as much as possible, but he/she has little to no pvp experience or experience for the gameplay in terms of cards and gears, that person is automatically not chosen? Make that clear for me, your statement wasn't clear. You made it sound like they have to be very ro knowledgeable to qualify.
-
The GM also needs to be able to handle abusers without being rude, or at least as polite as they can. That is STILL NO reason to harass a GM, unless they deserve it, which, as far as I've seen, on this server they don't deserve it.
-
I have a fast question. Why was Hiei removed? She was a good GM that evented a lot. If she was removed of her own request then fine, but if she was removed just because that's not fine.

So as I mentioned above I'm moving out, and unfortunately I have a big oil painting I did a couple years ago that likely won't be coming with me to my house, because my mom will likely not want it anywhere; I had to persuade her to hang it in the kitchen in the first place... While my mom was away in Germany for a week I made her this to hang in the kitchen. He's all oil paint with sinew and plastic jewel accents for shine. I made him up one day and wanted to make it bigger. If anyone wants it and has the money to ship something that big to where they live, he's for sale. I doubt anyone will considering the thing is like...5 feet tall... So if you are interested, pm me and we'll talk about a price. Maybe I'll try to sell him in my garage sale T__T I really don't want to sell it.
