    The Forsaken RO Championship Event is something that was already being thought out. A knockout system would eventually make it clear who's the "PvP Champion" of Forsaken RO 2009. Anyway, players are not allowed to bring consumables, buffing accounts or any of that. GMs would provide a package with the allowed items (so that everyone has the same amount of berries, scrolls, pots etc). Because a lot of classes are unable to wear more that xx berries, strategy will matter. The fighting area will be limited, there will be no hit & run rules applied unless complete avoidance is shown. The complete rules and subscription system has yet to be finalized and as mentioned before, it will take a lot of time. Our initial plan was 32 individual players, with no one being able to use multiple characters, who would be able to participate in this event. Depending on the amount of players that would subscribe and it will go beyond the 32 mark, 48 would be the next number. If that amount wouldn't be reached, first come, first serve rule would be applied, if more people will sign up, the cap will be raised to 64 (basically a sum of 16 each time we bypass the cap). Anyway, just so you know, the idea was already being considered, I've talked about this with Shield before and we're still looking for the perfect map & system to avoid problems, unfairness and hopefully we'd be able to let everyone participate no matter what time zone.
  2. The vote rewards are a little extra we want to offer the players for voting. Showing our appreciation for them supporting the server and allowing us to grow (higher rated servers on the vote ranking list attract more players). We all want the community and server to grow as much as possible, everyone will benefit from it, more competition, more items being sold, bigger WoE, bigger GvG, more participants in Hide and Seek and a lot other benefits that makes it more fun to play this server. If we refund voting rewards, players will just vote a few times, being selfish as they are, they'd be happy as soon they have their item and will have to vote maybe a few times again to gain their new item. This service has to work both ways and with refunding it won't.

I personally think there are too much FCP & EDP tickets/pots going around already, we want to make playing the classes that play them a challenge and at the moment Creators are just used as buffers and Assassins have it way too easy gaining EDP bottles as it is already (allowing them to do the high damage output as we all know). But your suggestion is appealing, making Endless Tower being worth more than it is at the moment is a very nice idea. I will let this suggestion stay in this section for more player input, so that people can share their thoughts/suggestions about this idea.

    Preserve is not a catalyst skill, EDP and FCP are. The reason why those aren't dispel-able is because of that catalyst. More skills are crucial for other classes, I do realise stalkers are weak(though you can ladder with it quite well), but they're not reliant on it. These forums are made so players can discuss whether or not the made suggestions are reasonable. Without discussion GMs would gain complaints that we don't let players get a chance to accept/reject/discuss their suggestions. So without enough feedback, the suggestions are dying.
  7. *It doesn't work with incantation samurai card. As far as I'm aware off, it does work with Thanatos card. The bug/problem that's going on here is that aura blade ignores defence, same as the MvP card. The effects don't stack and cancel the other out (or so I think). Anyway, will be looked into.

    Storage command will be looked in to, based on this, rest is rejected. Valkyrie card already dispels too much, there are enough cards to avoid freezing, sacrificing a slot is part of the game (be happy there are 2 slots available). New hats are implemented slowly already. Ruwach adds a cast-delay after uncloaking (about 0.5 seconds), it's fine. Firecrackers will stay in pieces of 5 for now too, might change in the future.

  11. Ice pick and thanatos card are only there for the melee characters. And the way you see RO is low rate and even there you can fairly spam asura by using blue pots, having a professor by your side or other nice tricks to regain SP quickly. The GTB card will still be around, also a legitimate card and official, if we keep excluding items it won't even be "like the official" RO anymore either. EDP was rare so Assassins would only be really use it during WoE when it really was crucial. All I was asking for was a solid reason and not a rant for this PvP room to be implemented. You may or may not have noticed, there's a lot of people opposing this idea and they will most likely not enter. The result would be a PvP room with 1 person in there and an occasional visitor who comes in, get killed and will never return because his consumables didn't save him(because he couldn't use them) against the 200k Sonic Blow that was just performed. What I'm trying to say is, consumables were always in the game and also were always used. No one is against you, we just want to have good reasons to implement such sensitive material.
  12. I feel sorry for you to be hunted as much, but there are ways to avoid it quite simple. Warp around a lot and use fly wings. The monsters aren't just at 1 spot in those dungeons and he can't be everywhere. A small reminder; this is a PK server with PvP activated almost everywhere.
  13. To answer the main topic of the this suggestion. PvP without consumables is just mimicking World of Warcraft, which has fairly slow PvP action compared to RO. We tried non-consumables and classes that dominated were indeed limited, but still completely dominating PvP as we know it now. It will not work, this game works around fast action, if you'd like a non-consumable PvP, we'd need to tone down damage and increase healing effective skills. The pace is just too high to bother with a non-consumable PvP ground. There are more ways to limit Champions to not Asura as much and changing how Assassins play, PvP isn't just about those 2 classes either. Anyway, no solid reason how this could be implemented has been suggested yet. Not allowing custom gears still leaves items such as ice pick and thanatos card available (without skolls, you can see who are going to dominate PvP right there). P.S. Grimtooth is effective, spammable and slightly stunlocking, people just underestimate it and most people have problems being creative and do not play different than others.

    It will be done in the next patch, we're working with 4 people to fix weapons, scripts, modifications and other things. The glorious set change was made to prevent abuse in GvG later on, it had a higher priority and was easily done. Though you are right when you say the TK weapon fix can be done in no-time too, it's not top priority at the moment, but certainly is high on the list. Thanks for your concern and highlighting the problem again, we have not forgotten.
  16. Dear players, after analysing the situation and some discussion we have decided to remove the effects on the Glorious set and Asprika. These items were in combination with other available items capable to ruin the game play. More changes will be done in the near future to enhance game balance and game play, next to the quest NPC fixes that are currently being worked on, a lot of positive updates will follow very soon!     10% is too much as it's a comparable item to the Thanatos card, it may not offer the complete same benefits as the Thanatos card, but keeping the drop percentage below 1% is a good idea. If either of you could suggest a more suitable dropping percentage, we'll see what we can do to satisfy you. (0.5% would be my own suggestion)

  19. It will be looked into very soon, it's on the "to fix"-list at the moment. A new server update has been talked about, but it would cause a lot of bugs/odd situations again, so we're trying to do it the alternative way.
  20. It's an acceptable suggestion, yet we're prioritizing fixes at the moment. The quest NPCs are redone at the moment, item edits/fixes are done and other things that should've been done for a while. I hope this is a reasonable reply and super novices (and other classes) will be looked into in the near future.
