@GMTeam: Just a heads up! I just tested the Legendary LK weapon. I'm still able to cast Parry with it so I'm guessing you guys forgot about it in the update.

Hmmmm, here's the thing. I really appreciate those who wanted the game to be improved. But there is one thing i noticed, the focus is mainly on cheaters??? Aren't the Gms there to monitor also the players? of course not all the time. But that could be possible. Another thing, If putting a delay on Spams, then how about those players on other countries which have high pings? So i can smell a high probability rate to kill only a poring and not a player. Wew. Good thing it was announced that macro are not allowed, even though not knowing what are those. wew. I thought this game is for all, Not to waste our time with those cheaters. If there's an anomaly, then report.
Just Give guidelines on how to record stuffs as posted by some on previous posts so as to report immediately those that were taken and accused to be cheaters, then the Gms could review it. wew.
We're not putting a delay, we're merely limiting the amount of skill spam that the server will accept (to one that is the maximum legitimate spamming speed), and people using 3rd party programs will not be able to spam faster than that and will get disconnected from the server. We are taking our time and doing it very carefully so it will not effect people who are playing honestly, only those who are cheating. Making it so cheating isn't possible in the first place is much better for everyone and the server rather than going on huge banning sprees.
I am confused by the rest of your post. Do you not understand what macros are? As for reporting cheaters, players are encouraged to do so, but it's difficult to prove on our end whether or not someone is using 3rd party programs or macro keyboards/gaming gear. That's why we have decided to not allow either.

Judging from experience, this will make people near the server obviously spam better than the ones who aren't but it's the same thing anyway if no one was using BNs and macros so this is what exactly should be done oh and @Igopewpew, omg! it's kinda like the exact same solution another server I played did, i wonder why...
Don't worry, it's not going to impact anyone negatively, whether they live near the server or not. We're working on carefully testing out each of the problematic skills, and are going to test it with multiple people from different locations in Europe and Asia before releasing it to the server. People will be able to spam the same as they do now (legitly), but those who use 3rd party programs will no longer benefit from doing so and will be disconnected from the server.

Thank you for that constructive post. This is why we've announced today that macros (including ones that are part of gaming gear) are no longer permitted.

As part of the first step in eliminating cheaters: All macros, including those that are a part of your keyboard, are no longer permitted. You may only use the ForsakenRO client when playing ForsakenRO. The only exception to this is WTFast and any other ping reducing programs.

Great update especially LTD part.
Maybe many will against about LTD part but that is different for me. Because I don't really care about market and got all gear I need through donation way.
As long as I can get the item I want with acceptable price I don't care. 6k+(more then 150$) for a merely +5 all stat is too high for me, so this update is good news for me.
And for new freebie headgear, it can't dropped nor putted on storage while its weight 30 and 10 each. Please can you do something about this? Thanks

Anddd ... I just realized that LKs can't use Two Handed Quicken anymore, was that supposed to happen too? It was helpful :P
I already responded to your ticket about this. :) But basically, in order to fix the issues with Parry based on the community's feedback, we changed Freyr's to one handed. So that's why Two Handed Quicken doesn't work anymore. We'll look into re-adding it though.

Everytime I post I simply post what I see going on, only you see it as complaining. And I only get on for events, since you're going to be getting a lot of donations with this promotion are you planning to buy Harmony?
I'm sorry that you are unhappy with the change we decided to make. However, we're trying to make it so more people can obtain Limited Helms since Imperial Helms are very rare and many players who have them opt not to turn them into Imperial Tokens. Since Imperial Tokens are rare, it means players cannot have more than one at most, which limits the selection of the styles they can use. The whole point of adding Valkyrie Expansion helms (and their Limited Edition counterparts) was to allow players to customize their looks more. Imperial Helms will still be valuable because they are rare, and some players prefer their sprite to V.E. helms.
As for Harmony, I'd like to point out that Harmony is not only easy to bypass, but is extremely flawed. There are a TON of issues with Harmony, and it hurts more than it helps. You can read a lot of player's experiences with Harmony here: http://forum.ratemyserver.net/server-discussion/harmony-destroys-servers/ It would not be beneficial to us at all. Instead, we're going to adjust the delays on problematic skills to prevent players from abusing 3rd party programs.

1. You can access your storage by typing @storage, no need to talk to a Kafra! :)
2. MvPs spawn at their regular maps, and can also be accessed in the MvP summoning rooms in Fcity too.

Welcome to ForsakenRO. :) I'd recommend checking out our beginner guide here: https://forsaken-ro.net/getting-started/ There's some different sections that cover topics people usually struggle with, like leveling and gearing up. If you're looking for a guild, there's one called Hex that's geared towards new players and seems very friendly. They have a recruitment topic on the forums too if you're interested in finding out more.
As for things to do - we have tons of quests, raids, and fun events to partake in too. :) If you're a low rate player who enjoys more story driven quests, you should check out our unique storyline, Fate of the Gods, when you're max level and geared up!

The pictures are fine, no worries. :) Basically this is related to the fact we recently renewed our SSL license for the website, but it hasn't taken effect for the images yet so they're not being displayed. We're working on fixing it.

We're working on a db specifically for all of our custom items, I'm hoping to have it finished soon but it's a ton of work since I need to do it manually. :( We updated our item db in the control panel though, and it shows which monsters drop items and where they spawn, etc. It's not as detailed as I'd like it to be, we may expand it in the future more. :)

Made a topic for recolor suggestions that's now pinned here: http://www.forsaken-ro.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=28755 Because of the variety of colors we have ingame, it won't be possible to make all of our valk hats/auras/etc. available in every color for the most part. But people can post recolors they'd like there, and we will take it into consideration. :)
