Lacey Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 :dry: I Just Dont Understand, I know How the Hide and Seek Event works But at the same time How would it work For New Players, I mean with the PK and all, I figured Events like that one are supposed to for everyone to participate in , So how is killing a Novice In Pay_fild07 going to help the kid get any closer to getting anything good. Its like telling the kid Donate or play Events but if you dont donate you cant play events and because the only way there gonna get anything good is bust hump, wich we all know No Noob will do, Or Donate for acceptable gear... Well Really I have been back a Month and Have only seen H&S in town a total of 3 times this last month, I mean Its not a prob to me because I have gear to PK but I have friends that are joining and I know they wont be able to event for awhile if H&S Keeps taking place on PK maps

Kittie Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 No. You can't PK characters under a certain level. 150 I think. So novice or w/e class, just keep the level low and you can't be PK'ed. If you're 255 and getting butthurt in a H&S event and you're not able to survive to warp away...that's pathetic.

Also, I never really see people killing each other while looking for the GM. Most of the killing happens when we give the coordinates. And one more thing. We are a PK server, there is only so much that can be done about it. Constantly hiding in towns gets very boring for the players and the GM's. And many players have expressed their fondness of harder Hide and Seeks.
Candy Lips Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 I like that this is a PK server but it is really annoying when I'm doing something on one of my characters and then the GM is like "its time for H&S" and Instead of like warping out of where ever I am I just log onto another character to go look for the GM and I don't take time to gear it up or anything and I get to the map where I think they might be or w/e and a champ comes gfist's me and I have to warp all the way back lol not the end of the world but kinda annoying. Also I see where she's coming from because when I was new-er ( I say new-er because I'm still kinda new lol ) My higest level character was a fs priest and it wasn't 255 and not only were people killing me when I was looking for the GM's the mobs of animals were too. But I guess since I had to put up with it all the other new people should too lol. I really don't care because I'm not going to die from animals any more and most people too now that I have gear on, but the new people might. I bet the people who ask for harder H&S have played for a long time... I think harder ones are more fun but just saying.

Well its simple, If Im new Lv 210 and No Wings no gear NPC Head gear and I spawn on a map and I start seeking, Theres bound to be at least That One Ass that cant stand to see a Noob I could be right next to the GM getting ready to sit and Say "I Found You" and get PKd and Guess what happens then "Ass wins H&S event" So In that case Would I really come back to the map? Well that may be for a few Really Good Reasons For Starters unless your helping in the Training Process of the new GMs More then not You Are that "GM" How exactly Are you Going to see people Killing each other when Your suppose to have your spot Picked, Or is that like the time one of my room mates found the GM and Conveniently "Someone else" Already Found the GM Secondly Is the Fact that Most New players Probably have already been through this and Decided that they are too new to Event at all Look All Im saying Is that it is fine to go H&S on the Lower level Dungeons and PK maps but Why is it that More so then not The GM has to pick one of these areas I mean Damn How many rounds are in H&S If people want to Cry about it being to easy then maybe they shouldnt come BECAUSE I DOUBT THAT WILL HAPPEN, Its Funny There complaints went Heard, Why is it that just because the New Player wont say any thing that They shouldnt Automatically have the chance to be involved? Also If I didnt like the PK i Wouldnt be here, But there are times when its just unfair to PK
