Aerow Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Okay so i was killing a drake for about half and hour, it was at about 30 mil. Then this person that i said i woulnt buy a maya p card comes and asuras the drake until it has 1 mil hp, then she kills me and takes the card WTH :sad:

If someone decides to be a jerk about it and kill you last minute to get MVP, then they just proved they're rude and such. Beyond that it's perfectly legal. Have some ice cream. It always helps.

Sorrow Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 If you dealt that much damage in the MvP, it was yours, what you should have done was, warp elsewhere in the map and wait for them to kill it for you with @autoloot on. This way the drops would have been yours. There are cazes in which they can wait and camp instead of killing the mvp just to be Extra Jerky, i have a second account with a champ in it, i just double client and finish off the MvP with my other champ, warp>asura>warp>asura never fails. If the mvp was already yours(dealt over 50% of its hp in damage), you should warp to another point of the map as soon as you see that the next asura will be on you. Stay around 5 mill hp at max, so if they kill you now, you have time to @warp there again before it's dead. Then again, observe the champ or whoever else is there see how much time you need to respawn and come back and how much time they need to deal this damage, and apply these methods accordingly. When you deal over 50% damage on the MvP it hardly can be stolen if you act cunningly. Then again...a drake? Well at least you didn't lose that much...don't let this happen with FBH, Gloom or Kiel ^^"

This can get tricky if the other party knows you're elsewhere on the map and comes to hunt you. Usually they won't think of that and just kill the MVP. I'd really recommend MVPing with friends. If you don't have any in game, make some. Who gets the card you ask? Whomever needs it the most, or whomever's turn it is to get the next card. You'll be much more successful if you work with people, then you might even stand a chance of killing off the other party.
Abstract Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 You also can't be 100% sure that person got the card because cards are 10% drop, UNLESS he/she actually showed you the card. But on the other hand, she could have had extras and just took them out.
