Sensation Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Nitemare didn't encourage the swearing, he said you could reply with "K, cool", which would piss them off more. The meaning of his post is, to not care so much about PvP slang, people always brag, curse, flame, praise others. And about your performing in it, keep doing it there and care less about the flames.
Blind Posted August 29, 2008 Author Report Posted August 29, 2008 I try to. But, I'm not really good at keeping my temper. But, I will try. Oh, I see. I didn't read the last sentence right. ^^; Thanks Sensa.
Terroryst Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Sensation, I do perform in it. -_-; Night, if I swear at them back. I think I'm putting myself as low as them. ^^; Nightmare didn't encourage the swearing, he said you could reply with "K, cool", which would piss them off more. DAMMIT, WHAT'S WITH YOU PEOPLE AND SPELLING IT PROPERLY!?
Sensation Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Same thing as with you quoting it wrong.
Whitefish Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 nm pvp is pvp just when ppl do/try kosing 24/7 its reallly really annoying.
Kittie Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 KOS'ing is part of PVP. Can't take it? Stay out of PVP, find a PKing ground, or change your build and stack 3 phrees like some people do.

Zero Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Or go pure PD + FCP + GR/Devilings. Do like Nightmare said too.
Kittie Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 You mean flee. Not PD. PD is auto fail. Unless you want to stack 3 phrees against an 100 PD build. Then you'd be auto fail.
Zero Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 You can't hit PD with Phreeoni and you're not meant to kill either.
Defiance Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 MY advice to the person(s) involved: To tell you honestly, some people can be real unpredictable no matter what age gap they're in. I'm not saying that the people KOS'ing you are total pricks, but unintentional bullying really does happen. Whatever reason they have with their actions, we cannot automatically say that they have been wrong altogether. Sometimes, ganging or bullying (constant Killing On Sight) can be brought by unintended harmless fun. Game-wise speaking, if everything gets out of hand, step out of the PvP room for a bit. The more you tell them to stop, the more they'll want to kill you as a psychological response. If kill-hungry lions were asked by antelopes to stop, would they actually stop? NO, they won't. They'll probably the opposite and completely consume their fallen prey. Same goes in-game. Its either you fight back or just leave altogether, that way you'll be doing the right thing here. We should never feel frustrated over a battle game over the net. Step out of PvP and chill for the meantime. If you think you got a better fighting chance next time, then feel free to step back and fight again. Who knows, they might admire your determination next time and decide to stop killing you altogether. Usually, respect is given to those who rightfully deserve it. And to the off-topic chats and useless posts, cut it out. I'm a reasonable person, so I'll let you off with a verbal warning for now. Stay on topic, be cool, and lets all play nice. Have a nice day everyone.
Icon Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 off topic: Why isn't gm defiance on the @staff list? on topic: PvP = Player vs Player
Blind Posted August 29, 2008 Author Report Posted August 29, 2008 I can see where Defiance is coming from. But, I don't think the word, "respect" comes into the PVP room. Its kill or survive. Also, I don't think people will admire you for your determination of coming back to room. People will think your a "noob" and they're getting free kills. :/ Also, I think the "KoS" and the "hate" things, should be left in the PvP room and should not be taken outside since things may get a little out of control.
Defiance Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 No based on actual PvP experience, I became friends with my enemies because of determination. I was not just giving them free kills, but a fight for their life. We (yes, you and I to be exact), do not surrender without a fight. We offer them a fight they never had before, or at least try, and they will surely respect you. The only time a persistent player becomes a "noob" is when they do not possess any characteristics of a skilled player, and just randomly kill everyone with or without an actual fighting chance. But if you show them that you can take them on, they'll eventually give in and be friends with you. Do not get provoked by their actions. You know you're better than that. Stay cool, stick to your game plan, and give them a fight they'll never forget.
Blind Posted August 29, 2008 Author Report Posted August 29, 2008 I see, I see. Well, I shall try to that strategy and see what is the outcome. Off-topic: Get on FkenRO and host NDLMS D:<
Blind Posted August 29, 2008 Author Report Posted August 29, 2008 Kuoch, what do you mean "those" players? Which ones? o_O; Edit: also, your Skylite. o_o;;
Dr. Tran Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 he means newb, and his gang LOL dude. its pvp , seriously, who cares, u kill me i kill u its all the same ITS JUST A DAMN GAME
DeAmascus Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 I'll agree with Defiance. Half of the people that used to PK me are now siding with me because I stood up to them. As noobish as I'm, still trying to wh00p their @$$. In the end, you'll both get a kick out of it. =P

Well,with time we became more friends,even though we never did that ubber-fight. :) Happy to see your ass back. @Blind. - Ok. So,people take it SO seriously when you kill them. They show frustration over it,and attempt to insult you or harass you. You take them so seriously. Why? you can /ignore them ,or you can just act like a ''wossie'' and start a new topic dizimating the ''newbs'' who insult you,the ones that you ALL call ''kiddies''. Genesis is right in a part,in another one. I say this myself beeing 14 years old and I know not every ''kiddie'' is completely retard or mentally-ill. MOST (( not all )) do stuff in the internet that they can't or are afraid to do in real life. This goes for ALL ages,not just young people. Charging someone by their age is going low. I take GAMES with passion. I kill them,if they say ''KoS'' I just answer back ''Come and try (:''. After a while of some good/bad fights,they quit attempting to kill me and actually ask me ''Let's stop and be friends please?''. Taking a game serious means you're a nerd ,and you gotta get a life. Now get your head straight before taking assumptions about young people. We're the sexiest thing alive (: ,among with our sense of homour.
