Genesis Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 I followed a guide from gamerenders and I came up with this: So yea...
Emy Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 I like it too, but only if I get cake. What is it exactly? It looks like a Sylon (or w/e) mixed in with a Halo person and those super soldiers from Stargate, only he fell in paint.
Terroryst Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 Whoaaaa, Genesis @ Photoshop. The effects looks good, I would just suggest a different color choice. :P
Terminus Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 I followed a guide from gamerenders and I came up with this: So yea... To be honest, I find it too simple. I dislike the background colour since the peach-like colour doesn't exactly entwine with Samus' suit. If you chose straight orange, it would be camouflaged with Samus' suit. It's a bit difficult choosing a background colour, so I don't blame you. Next, the lettering is nearly invisible at first since the "aurora" around Samus is the same colour as the lettering. I'd suggest that you increase the font size if you do that. Next, choosing a different font would've looked better when you wrote "Genesis" on the bottom right; using the same one kinda ruins the originality of the font. Other than that, it's pretty good as a start. My first photoshop attempt wasn't sharp and it turned out meh.
Hazard Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 Gawd how you guys do this signature? Damn...Someone tell me some info <3
Kittie Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 Tutorials are the best foundation to start with. :D
nao-chann Posted August 15, 2008 Report Posted August 15, 2008 Well , for me this is Genesis first signature that he made.Well the signature look okei and nice , but to be honest it's only a simple signature but it's cool for a beginner or not. Nice good work.
Terroryst Posted August 15, 2008 Report Posted August 15, 2008 He never said it was his first sig, but it could be. :P
Diablo336 Posted August 15, 2008 Report Posted August 15, 2008 If I tell you I like it will you give me itamz ingame pls? Lol. It looks pretty nice tho. Good job homo. ^^
wolfy Posted August 18, 2008 Report Posted August 18, 2008 very very basic indeed :o, yet it is still good :P
St. Michael Posted August 18, 2008 Report Posted August 18, 2008 Ouch. Well, your fonts could use a lot of work. Download fonts at http://dafont.com or http://1001fonts.com and try a new variety and new positioning. You could get tons of brushes at http://deviantart.com by looking up Brushes or if you're looking for a specific type you could write the exact type and cross your fingers for the right outcome. It's far too basic to only have basic added 3 times on your signature and the border is far too thick. The colors seem to match it but that white thing isn't really following its flow. You could try adding a bit more to the background to allow Samus to blend in a bit more. Try making some more effects on it to make her look as if she truly is powerful. Not a very good signature to be honest, obviously your first so it's acceptable but... If you want a better guide than what you probably used use this http://www.deviantart.com/#order=9&q=signature+tutorials and find a tutorial fit best for you.
Icon Posted August 18, 2008 Report Posted August 18, 2008 I love metroid. ( JUSTIN BAILEY ) <--- If you get that then you're a fan. Maybe it's just me but I think dark/hunter green would look nice in the b/g. Better than anything I could make. First one to rate ..... 5/10 ...... and don't u bishes go editting either I got this screenied. OFF-TOPIC: mike and sean's sigs have spelling issues :D
CocaCola Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 My Favorite Character in Super Smash bro. 8)
» Pat Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Well it's actually pretty nice for a beginner. You'd just have to work on the details a little. For example, you could try to blend it a little better. That's quite easy to do, by either making some more layers over the actual render with brushing on them to make its borders look a little less sharp or you could use the blur tool to make them a little softer. Burning or dodging also helps sometimes. Little things like those make a big difference. Then just work on your border a bit ( black is just a little comon ) and there you go. :]
