Wargasm Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 Ok, so I haven't played RO in awhile since I've been doing all sorts and the server I had previously played on apparently dissapeared. So I thought it was time to start anew. I think the biggest reason behind me choosing Forsaken was simply no Donation exclusive items. Item balance to me, since I love PvP, is a huge factor. Anyways, I tend to like to play PvP combinations that aren't popular at all but with some elbow grease and some determination can become pretty awesome. So, I was curious to see if people could make me a list of most Popular (1) to least popular(10) PvP classes. Also, was curious as to what seems to be the dominant factor in PvP on this server, it looks like GTB is rampant. I'm going to continue lurking the forums, but any answers and/or comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated =) Also, I was thinking of maybe going Whitesmith PvP, but then again maybe having little to no Spam skills isn't worth the awesome buffs for auto-attack killing.

Thanks, so would tyou think a Whitesmith to be viable at all in PvP? Or is the OHKOChamps and Paladin/Sin/Ninjas still the dominant classes.
Genesis Posted July 29, 2008 Report Posted July 29, 2008 Every class here is used in PvP, from High Priests to Lord Knights; we have modded quite a few skills to add a High Rate balance to PvP. The only class that is barely use as a solo class ( going into PvP alone) is High Wizard.

Most Popular to Least Popular: 1. Assassin Cross 2. Champion 3. Paladin 4. Creator 5. Lord Knight 6. Sniper 7. High Priest 8. Clown/Gypsy 9. High Wizard 10. Stalker/Professor/Whitesmith/Star Gladiator/Soul Linker Of course, this is by my own observations, feel free to go with what other people say. We have tried to fix GTB and try and nerf it, but alias, the server bribed people to vote against change. Whitesmith imo isn't bad, but what I dislike about it is if you're going to use Cart Term, you're going to have a lot of trouble multi-tasking by spamming yggs, inflicting damage, watching your HP bar, watching your surroundings, and not to mention switching equipment. I also agree with what you say with making PvP combinations that aren't popular, popular. I've done it once on a secret wizard. It was fun for a bit. Asura strike wiz + surviving 3 sinxs on me, along with 1.5k matk (which is enough to spam).
