Fanen Posted June 28, 2008 Report Posted June 28, 2008 At pay_dun02, 114, 194 I saw a creator(name not enclose) with a homoculus, camping the hydra spawn. Apparently, the homoculus is able to auto-attack the hydras as they spawn at a very decent rate(25 cards per 2-3mins?). She/He uses somekind of AI script(not enclose). Auto-Attack Homoculus and camping Hydra spawn is legal?

But you can easily set it's feeding schedule to only having to check back every 10 minutes or so. I usually tell them to speak with 2 minutes or I report. Sadly they usually speak right when I'm going to report.

The difference between Homunculus farming and Meteor Storm Farming is that when you have your homunculus summoned, it will kill every Mob (here Hydras) as soon as they appear and other player's a chance to hunt said mobs at the same place will be very low. But if you use Dark Lord, you have to be attacked very often to make it work; that means you have to wait before meteor storm is being casted and thus giving other players the opportunity to kill above mentioned mobs before your Dark Lord even comes to action.

Okay, I disagree with you now, because you can put a char lvl 255 without any stats added and wait that the Hydras attack you, or you use a second char with 195aspd and low atk like a Gunslinger without a high Attack rate or other classes.

Fanen Posted June 29, 2008 Author Report Posted June 29, 2008 Lol, great input. I found a more interesting way in dealing with AFK creators though, just spam 100 DBs. Btw, hunting for hydras, you will meet alot of bots. One archer, kept warping to the spawn, and attacks only when hit and guess what? You don't see the split second or delay nor do you see the archer move. The hydra just "dies". Amazing? But who wants to spend 5 hours collecting 3k hydra cards anyways?

As far as I'm concerned, AFKing with a Creator is one of the highlights of playing the class. IE: leveling without being there. Not necessarily gaining the loot. Quick fix? Allow AFKing BUT... inable an autoloot timer ( it CAN be done ) so when someone is AFK for 5minutes, autoloot is disabled. Very easy to fix. I really don't see what the issue is since AFK hunting can easily be disabled. @_@; And @ Icon & Fanen - Icon, KSing is against the rules. And Fanen, I'm pretty sure GRIEF PLAY is as well. Don't get reported for taking matters into your own hands. That's what GMs are for. Besides, I sure as hell would report you if I was idle for a piss break ( 2minutes max? ) and came back to find someone KSing my homun. :]

IMO, you're just another issue to resolve. The whole idea is: let the GMs/Admins/Staff do their job. That's what they're here for. Don't step in and assume that someone is AFK. Maybe they just don't want to talk to you. :] Said person who may not be AFK would surely talk to a GM if they weren't actually AFK. It's really not your duty to patrol, regardless.

Creator is a class that takes no skill to play. so get in line with the rest of the losers that rely on there humonc and ai and not an ounce of skill have a great day ^_^

Round of applause for Allissa. My main character is a SinX, just so you know. I also have a White Smith, a Sniper and a Creator. I use my Creator for farming, not for actual game play or for MVPing or anything of the sort. However I am always THERE while I'm farming - I'm always active, always chatting in my guild. I usually farm with my Creator while I'm eating. So your "wannabe rude" statement has no grounds and you really look rather ignorant. @_@; I don't understand why people that can't even communicate properly with me think that they some how have an edge. If you have nothing to say about the issue of AFKing with an Alchemists that is at least remotely helpful and isn't a PERSONAL ATTACK, then stfu and go frolick in Assorted. Your kind isn't needed here.

How about we RE-ENABLE global PVP. and make the kills outside of pvp room not count towards your kill score. that way if some creator is camping afk. it will take any player about 2 seconds to slay em and take over the hydra killing. On a side note i didnt know afking with a homu was not allowed. glad i know now, thats how i was planning to get my hydra cards.
