Genesis Posted June 1, 2008 Author Report Posted June 1, 2008 Laptops are taking over every aspect of computers; think about it why carry a bulky desktop that you need a mouse, keyboard, monitor for when you can just carry an all-in-one ?
Terminus Posted June 1, 2008 Report Posted June 1, 2008 Laptops are taking over every aspect of computers; think about it why carry a bulky desktop that you need a mouse, keyboard, monitor for when you can just carry an all-in-one ? Because after a few years your computer mouse becomes like shit. Because after you drop it a couple of times, it can break. Because Waldo can't hide in it. Because Chuck Norris says 'No'. Because people prefer to be 'Old Skool'. Because it feels wierd when playing games when they are designed for a desktop.
Kittie Posted June 1, 2008 Report Posted June 1, 2008 Toshiba Satellite Processor: Intel Core 2 CPU T5500 @ 1.66 GHZ Memory: 1GB RAM Hard Drive: 160 GB Screen Size: 12.1" Weight: < 4 pounds. Comments: Small and very compact. Bought it last summer when it was being discontinued so I got it for about half price when it was still new. :] I trust Toshiba hella more after my old HP got fried! There's this vibration sensor that locks up the hard drive to prevent scratches, which is pretty useful for me at least! Love it. But tempted to buy one of those gorgeous gigantic desktop macs. @Terminus. After a few years, you should invest in another computer anyways...
Genesis Posted June 1, 2008 Author Report Posted June 1, 2008 1.Because after a few years your computer mouse becomes like shit. 2.Because after you drop it a couple of times, it can break. Because Waldo can't hide in it. Because Chuck Norris says 'No'. Because people prefer to be 'Old Skool'. 3.Because it feels wierd when playing games when they are designed for a desktop. 1. Get Japanese/American Parts instead of Chinese parts. 2. And a Tower won't? Once you drop a tower the HDD will fry ( unlike the new laptop's HDD that can FEEL when its being dropped and will lock itself to prevent data lose) 3. Wrong, there is no such thing as a game designed for a destop thats dependent upon Graphic Card(s)/Processor Speed/Ram/HDD RPM and LCD Screen.
Icarus Posted June 1, 2008 Report Posted June 1, 2008 Once I'll buy a new computer this summer,I will burn the old one.It gave me so much problems over this years T_T
Genesis Posted June 1, 2008 Author Report Posted June 1, 2008 Despite what most people thinks Mac are just as good if not better than PCs, not only can they run both Mac OS and Windows Vista/XP but they have most of the original Microsoft software as well as apple Software together.

Kittie Posted June 1, 2008 Report Posted June 1, 2008 Sespite what most people thinks Mac are just as good if not better than PCs, not only can they run both Mac OS and Windows Vista/XP but they have most of the original Microsoft software as well as apple Software together. Exactly why I want one! Besides I've had my computer for 1 year now. Time for a new one. @_@
