Ryoji Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 100 defense is same as pure reduction but since it wouldn't have a vit defense it doesn't reduce to 0, so techniqually it would be 1..>_> Idk, I may be wrong. Ignore the fact I was even here. Defense is by %, Vit is by numbers. D=

Eregon Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Normal monsters are all monsters that are not "Boss class" All monsters in Thors are Boss class. Incantation does not pierce their defense. Normal monsters refers to monsters such as Acidus, Mi Gao, Lunatic, Poporing. Monsters that do not have the "Boss class" categorization, and can be affected by status ailments. Emperium doesn't react like a "Normal monster." It reacts like a Boss class.
Prometheuss Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 In my previous server (pRO), Emperium is a large type monster with holy property which means any elemental attack wont work. Nuetral damage would inflict normal damage but when it reaches 100 defense, basically your damage would be lesser. Using curse water or EDP would increase your damage. My guildmates uses icepick + curse water + EDP = 4k damage on emp. I'll try to ask for a screen shot to prove my post ;) @ Eregon What's the weapon you used when you hit the emp?
Eregon Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 Tried several weapons. We've had crit LKs with Muramasa, we've had SinX with ice pick. We had one LK with a Zweihander[2] and incantation card. All damage dealt to the Emp, was 1.
Prometheuss Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 hmm... pRO might be different then with your server ;) Back to topic In my previous server, we do have this annual event called "Ragnarok Phil Championship (RPC)" one of the qualifier to be the server champ is the agit lord campaign which last for 3 months. WoE is not that exciting after the said event but when the event draws near, everyone could really feel the excitement and old players are coming back to file :D
