You can try multiple things

1. Just restart the game.
2. Disable any applications besides RO. Also check your systray, lower right of your screen, for any active applications that came with your mouse/keyboard etc.

In short, disable stuff that could cause the ragnarok game shield to trip and restart the game.

I observed that if you are just about to login and you tab to something else, this would cause the error. I advise you to NOT TAB while the game is loading and wait for your character to load completely. Give it about 3 to 5 tries
