I am currently playing a High Wizard and I've been following the leveling/farming/quests guides and so far it has helped me a lot. I am working on the legendary weapon quest and the last item I need, according to the guide, is a 0 slotted Memory Book. I began farming in ra_san05 with my High Wiz, using Storm Gust to kill Agavs with the command @ali memory book, from about 4 hours ago. After the first hour of not getting it I checked the forums and I understood that because of its low drop rate many people only got it after some time, so I went back to farm, thinking luck wasn't on my side. Right now I'm starting to have doubts – if this item was essential to completing this quest, why is it that there isn't anyone else farming there? I literally saw no one for the past 4 hours, even killing Gloom in the process. Am I better off farming for Zeny and buying a Legendary Weapon from players? Am I doing something wrong? UPDATE: http://www.forsaken-ro.net/forum/topic/22444-increase-drop-rate-for-memory-book/ In this topic someone mentioned about using @ali 2109 instead of @ali memory book because the latter registers Memory Book [1]. kyoshiro029 Posted June 16, 2016 Report Posted June 16, 2016 if you are unable to get the memory book[0] by farming just buy them from other players... you could use tokens or zeny... either way it isn't that pricey but it isn't too farfetched if you didn't get the book by killing the mobs... i also took 4-5 hours just to get my first book... you will get the book when you least expected it...
