Super Novice C Ring

hi guys i wanted to make a suggestion on the buffs received from SN C ring as we know

[super Novice of Damned] NEW!
Int +30, Vit +20, Max HP +25%, Max SP +20%, Hit +100, Walking speed +15%
Reduce Vit def by 10%, Increase damage for Cold Bolt, Fire Bolt, and Lightning Bolt by 25%, Increase damage of Mammonite by 150%
Reduce damage taken from Demihumans by 5%
Here the buffs are all good and before i say anything thank you for making SN rings happen FRO Staff ive been wanting this ring for ages now #SN FOR LIFE
as we all know SN's have considerably high hp more then 500k with 2 tgk in armor so i wanted to point out that instead of the hp/sp +% buff which wouldn't benefit SN like at all
we could instead change this buff to either +%matk or add -5% after cast delay(few ppl wld dislike this idea i know) but why i suggest this is caz with the above buffs
i can go hybrid yes(bolt/mamo) but my matk is considerably low[14k-16k with kingrings] and my bolt spam is a disaster unless i get bragi/MS so i really want either more magic attack so the
spam wont matter or faster spam so my dmg doesn't matter but with neither its like i cant do dps or spam at all
Take for example Any other magic classes,
WIZ- Has -5% cast delay on staff and +20% matk on ring i agree their hp is low but they have many skills they can use unlike SN's limited to all the first job skills AND they have mad redux
PROFF- Has +20% matk and has Double Bolt and can increase their bolt dmg with fibre lock+volcano etc ,even though their spam is same as SN but they got double bolt
SL-HAS THE FASTEST SPAM FRO need i say more? :D and ring gives +15%matk
BIO-Has -5% cast delay on mace and have quite high matk due to with good amount of int and their ring gives +10%Matk
so Yea Considering all the other bolter classes have considerably a good balance i urge FRO team to please do consider either adding +10-20% MATK or Give us -5% cast Delay
before u think We got Really High HP so dmg isnt a bother do look at the fact that we dont use GR and if u divest our armor wer like Food for anyone lol
so i feel its balanced if HP/SP Buff is removed and either one buff or both if u feel its good :D is added

I would want Bishop and Shino to take a look at this. But I don't feel like giving SN the after-cast reduction and increase on MATK. But let's wait what they think about this too. :)

Im in the process of finishing a SN Bless scarf once it is done ill test it and give more input on that matter too

Just tried SN Bless Ring its pretty awsome

The Bash Could use some touch up though the dmg is a bit low

I disagree with your suggested effects. Though the maximum hp add is not going to do much due to the low base hp from SN that's correct. However your suggested effects are unneeded for the supernovice class. Supernovice has very decent matk and does not need vit and hardly needs dex/agi for hit and attackspeed (improve concentration etc). Therefore they have more statpoints to spend on other stats such as int and str to make a hybrid build. Supernovices should not be doing the same damage as wizards or professors with their magic skills as they have other things going for them such as being massive tanks with tao gunka and having the statpoints to go hybrid effectively (Creators have to go hybrid without the benefits SN have. they have way lower hp, they need agi for aspd, they need vit for hp and they need more dex for hit compared to SN as well. ). I've tested a hybrid build on SN before this ring and was able to obtain high enough magic damage to force people to gtb and do 30 up to 120k mamo's in a result of that. With this ring the hybrid should do fine damage on both melee and magic and that's the purpose of this ring.

Well im glad that u atleast agree with me on one fact that novice does not require Hp/Sp +%buff and vit does not benifit them at all infact it just gives us more vit def where bio's do more dmg to us lol

If u feel the ring is ballanced matk wise ill be fine with it caz i <3 SN i survived fine even without rings so shld do fine with it

But if not matk add more int or smthing caz hp/sp and vit is really a useless buff something else wld benifit us :3

I will explain first because before SN got nerf, SN with soul link can wear any class ring/weapon. So this is nerf long time ago because SN have OP hp and damage. So now, the new ring for SN is developed by [GM] Ares to buff SN again. My suggestion is please remove the additional VIT & HP% in the SN cursed/blessed ring. The additional damage in the ring for fire bolt, lighting bolt, cold bolt can be remain because fair to be SN.

My SN can tank Full Asura using GTB frig shield. I feel this is unfair to another class. I hope [GM] ares check this and restat the SN cursed/blessed ring again.

FYI You can't Tank a full asura while using gtb on frigg shield, You must be GOD if you can LOL

But removing SN HP% you have a point there. but its up to GM's

Well ive been playing sn for 2 years + now ive never been able to tank an asura with gtb so far lol let alone on friggs with usakoring max asura dmg on me is 490k and my hp was 532k :/

as u said the vit and hp bonus can be removed BUT only to replace it with some other buff like +10-20 str or more int or some % matk or keep the hp buff as it is but as u say SN's are not that op and can be countered easily by few classes

this is why the FRO team has given us mamo bonus so we can go hybrid now

Good points given by everyone. I'm really glad that we have an active community like this. We may or may not do the changes. I would like to hear more inouts from other experienced players.
