I'm using window 8 for the game, i got everything download and installed smoothly but when I launch the patch and hit start nothing happen and tries so many time still nothing.

Windows 8 doesn't jive nicely with Ragnarok, since it's made during 2002.

Run the game in Compatibility Mode: either 7, Vista, or XP. should work :)
