One can never be better in PvP unless he/she stops using Pre-buffs and fight on his/her own strength. I just want everyone to think that ForsakenRO has a lot of good PvPers. I'm going to stop replying to Sapphirel's or better known as Hrist's shit. It's pointless. You'll never get my point. You say too much shit when all what you say can be summarized in just a few sentence. I'm going to bed. EDIT: It took me a while to reply because I got better things to do. I'm saying this in case Hrist uses it against me.

However, I do must point out that I see many good points in Gilgamesh's statements. For example, he does make a good point when it comes as to what fair play and balance is. While most of you think buff bots are ok, it is simply not the way RO was meant to be. Sure, if you can get an edge with buffs over your opponents, it means you will have a better chance of winning. However, RO was meant to be so that for you to get those buffs, other players would have to take the roll of the buffers. I deem it quite contradictory of my statements to be making changes to balance classes, while forgetting them and leaving them as macros. My apologies for that. Voted no. I'm sure people can adapt to playing the buffer roll again.

I wish if this were the case, people would like not ygg in pvp :( but that's just me. I came from previous servers were potting ygging in pvp was like a taboo so yea I think differently o_o

Tell me, would everyone agree in fair dueling in a PK server? I think not. Remember that this is more of a survival game more than anything. If everyone were like you then you might have a point. But seeing that we have more than at least 200+ unique individuals in this server, one or the other would most likely take a jump at you whether you like it or not. If this is a non PK server my good sir, then I would have agreed with you. But of course, thats not the case. Not everyone wanted a fair duel, some wanted to prove their power by taking your skull, while some just like to brag. Tell you what... There isn't even a standard in dueling. You can fight however you wanted to, wherever you wanted to, and whenever you wanted to. In the end, it all lies to you whether you want to go into battle unprepared, or just rely on your honorable ideals. This takes us now to the main point of this refined argument of ours (don't lose your cool now because I'm not even breaking a sweat). I'll ask you one more time sir. "Why does having buff bots feel inconvenient for you? Why does pre-buffing pose so much as a threat to you?" If you don't take me seriously, I'll most likely trample on your ego even more. Now if you can't match up, I say you just give it up. Now, I'd say what you're trying to point out is purely unnecessary. There is no point for you to fight in. The buff bots you're so avidly enthusiastic to remove does nothing harmful to this server, nor it doesn't cause the breakdown of the system. If you wanted a proper duel so badly, then why not PM that person and tell him to do a buff-less duel with you? I'm sure he will understand. And if he doesn't, you can always hide in fcity when you're beat. Running out of options? Get the same buffs as well. Just leave the damned buff bots out of it. Really, I'm just finding pleasure in defending this side of the game. Whether the buff bots get removed or not is none of my concern, but your acts makes me think otherwise. If it was really for the greater good of the server, then what is the main reason that it appears as a threat to you? Its not cheating at all. Its almost the same as asking your friend/buddy to buff you anyway. Don't tell me you don't do it yourself? You just can't stop the fact that buffing is LEGAL and was meant to be obtained by all means. Isn't it the same as asking for a nerf? I mean, you want the buffers to lose their purpose? For what? I'd like to see you try. Seriously, asking for a fair-duel is not that hard. If you want a fair duel, just say it (I just won't guarantee that the person would listen though since is a PK server). Just get your hands off at one thing that makes PvP battles worth hanging for. If a party is being driven to a pinch by gangers, then they always had the option of pre-buffing right? Whether its just WS/SL/Priest/whatever buffs, it can be easily obtained through our oh so reliable buff bots. Newbies might quit because they don't know of buff bots? Hardly an issue. around 60-70% of them knew the power of reliable dual-cliented buffing anyway. I am not implying that I am a buff-reliant player, as most of you see me without buffs and often complain about broken shit. But what do I do? I ask a friend for a bit of FCP, not necessarily SL/WS/Priest buffs. You get my point? Its either you think ahead, or you don't think and fight unprepared. Its their fault for not knowing or asking for extra buffs. Its their loss not ours. Now if they want to get me back because I buffed, then they should at least think of a strategy/way to win against me. Its purely logical. Like Clay said, if you beat a person while they're pretty much decked out, then thats true power. Not complaining because they buffed ahead. Why can't you be a true spartan like L2Aim? He's a formidable fighter that wins without buffs right? Surely, at his own skill alone, he can beat a buffed person in an unfair situation right? So it most likely isn't a threat to him right? The only time he can complain about buffs is when the other player agreed to have a fair duel then comes in with a buff bot to buff him/her. Just FCP is fine, but nevertheless still a buff. But even so, he could just say its cheating right? In a fair duel it IS cheating, but in an all out battle, every option if free for the taking. "The option of having fast and reliable buffs." Just so you know, YES. ForsakenRO is the best server out there. Even if you say its not, you're still here no? Why trash talk about our good server anyway? So predictable.

This just evens the playing field by making it available to everyone. Don't say it isn't accessible to all, because it is. If you want the buffs bad enough, its's legal. Go find it.

Yes, we should allow it, or yes, we should remove it? No, we should allow it, or no we shouldn't? I see people vote no because they think it would stop the campaign, and some voted no because they thought it would remove the buff bots. In the end, some votes are mixed up. Read it carefully.

LordAbsinth Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 i think that buffer bots and double account (using other characters to buff yourself) it's wrong,,, i've ever played with one account, and when i got more than 1 (characters slots neededs,,, :P ) i've never auto buffed myself,,, this is a game, the spirit of the game is play together, not like a solo,,,we could make party, we could pay other players to buff ourself, we can ask a buff and trade it with a buff to that ppl,,, is like,,,mmm,,,leave the MMO reality and play a PC game,,,and about the RPG, it's his death,,, i think that the right solution is ban the botters (item hunters, exp makers, buffers) and exclude the double account use at the same time (not much than 1 IP connected at time,,,merchant classes can be leaved in vending using @autotrade,,,so no problem),,,this makes the difference,,,u have to create cool guilds (with all classes), you have new economy ways (buff sellers) and the game come back to his dimension (party play and team works,,,also for the stupid exp),,, i think it's stupid made a SinX and buff him with an HP, Creator, Whitesmith and Soul Linker (NOTE: SinX as example, same thing for all the other classes),,,if u want the HP, Creator, Whitesmith, Soul Linker buffs make and play with an HP, Creator, Whitesmith and Soul Linker,,,or just do a party and play in team or trade your buffs,,,easy,,, [ever a personal opinion,,, :P ] LordAbsinth

You think it's unfair? As stated before,the bot client wastes MORE than a normal client. The Seek and Destroy guild has no right to say ANYTHING about this buff bot,seeing as they used to buff themselves when they were annoying the fuck out of people with their SB. Yes,I'm seriously pissed at how much e-drama this shit is conducting. We've got everybody against the escape guild just because of buff bots. We could've left it off at where Genesis said that you guys could use it,but no you guys had to drag the shit an extra mile and beat on it in the middle of a desert and I'm waiting for you guys to leave it to die. This shit's fucking annoying.

And it is still going on,and all of the members are enlisted if they are in the guild.

Of course they won that poll too. If nothing goes influences way, we know about what will happen. Could of seen this coming awhile ago.. How about we make a poll and BAN the people using WOE Damage scripts? Seems Fair to me. Assholes.

I'm confused as to what this " WoE Damage Script" thing is; there is absolutely no way to control a script from ingame it is all server side; and an external program would just effect you ( most of the time) and not anyone else. I'd like to be informed of this WoE Damage script.
