High Wizard card has the same effect of incantation samurai, just on the mdef. So having the card will not make you bypass GTB. The only way to fight GTB users as a magci class is to use stave crasher or strip off the shield.

It only allows you to ignore mdef just like incantation samurai card allows you to ignore regular defense. Since stave crasher deals physical damage based on your magical attack, it's the best skill to use vs GTB users.
