Hrist Posted March 2, 2008 Report Posted March 2, 2008 Yesterday, I saw some random people ranting about forsakenRO being a non-donator friendly game. They said newbies can never beat donators because donators got leet gears. I was like wtf? Since when did newbies began whooping older player's asses? Of course, it is just common sense that an older player has better gears than newer ones. Even if you're level 255, that doesn't mean you're in par with others who had better equipment that you. They just played here for about less than a month and they have the nerve to say that ONLY donators win in this game. Well when I first arrived here, that was true. But! It really doesn't matter who's who around here. You want to beat those who donated? Work hard for it. You can't expect to be strong in just a few weeks. In order to be strong, you have to work your way up. Its not by magical coincidence that you get strong just by waiting for a miracle. Why blame it on the donators? They donated because they liked this server so much that they wanted to support it. If they did the elite quests and not be too lazy about it, they would have known that the donation set doesn't give as much of a difference from the non-donation set. In fact, you can probably get more from the non-donor items than the donor items. And the boss cards are free-for-all. Anyone can get anything if they worked hard. And about the one complaining about the +40 stat belts, its sure not a problem at all. Its obtainable by everyone and not account based items. Work hard and you'll get it. Its that or don't play highrates at all. Damn RMS newbs.

~Ethernal Posted March 2, 2008 Report Posted March 2, 2008 Maybe if he doesn't have tactics or something that make him get easy money to buy coupons, participate in events, even in Team LMS trying to do something, if he works on that maybe he won't be Ranting the server, I can say he's like some people who only plays RO to sit down and they think since this is a High Rate they will get things easier, I like this server and even me having the +40 belts i complained about that, but now i see it makes server interesting, maybe he doesn't have spirit of playing , I remember when i joined , me and my friends were strong and had a lot of Massive fights in the first PVP it was so funny, Me, Mike, Terminus , Ami , Blade, SinC, Jessnar, Kinketsu, Drax , xTrinity, Aster or TicTac was our first community, It was so exciting everyone had cool equips and they worked for that... I used to call Drax the 999k Beware, Lawl :]

If you are below the level of 160, please leave the experienced player's vicinity Phaw I'm just kidding, but I don't understand why people complain about being ' Weak ' or ' Donars ' being invincible to them. I've noticed that the majority of those ' Non-Donars ' don't even use appropriate cards, they'd use like three Hydra and one Skeleton Worker for a crit katar build. I think they just lack knowledge and experience towards RO.

Ihaze Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 And I dont even know what a thanatos is! But I went after MVP's a few hours ago, and saw that Pharaoh had over 4 million in HP... argh! Not great for my level 180. :( But honestly I there was that same system on a server called WaffleRO I played years ago and it would be silly if a MVP had normal HP when I have around 70 k with my pally. I suppose it encourages teamplay, I just need to convince people around me to start here so they can help me...
