joemar3890 Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 Hello to all. I'm new to this server and I finished downloading the ForsakenRO All-In-One v3.8. I tried to open the forsakenRO patcher, then clicked the start but I got this "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click on OK to terminate the application." problem. Btw, I'm using winXP and I have no antivirus installed and the firewall is already turned off. Can anyone help me with this matter? I can't wait to play in this server. :)Thanks in advance!
Aerofox Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 Try opening via the 'fkenro.exe' file rather than through the patcher.

I open the patcher but I got the same error/problem. I think the problem is in my system but I don't know how to solve this. I also tried on the other server(TalonRO) but I get an "update failed" error. Any suggestions? Thanks for the reply! :)
Bishop Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 I'd recommend you to do a check disk. This seems more of an problem within your computer instead of the RO files. Try going into command prompt (start->run->cmd)Type:sfc /scannow
Barrio Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 (edited) It is the same problem that I have, I get the same error Have under this or not? Edited June 28, 2014 by Barrio
Bishop Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 Try the above, also try moving the RO folder out of the program files folder.
