Blessed Jacket/ring Question

now just a question, ive read up about how people can attain a ring, but what about the blessed jacket? do they have the same stats as the blessed ring?

I know I read under the suggestions how people wanted an NPC to swap ring for jacket(or vice versa) I for one love the jacket in white(blessed)

so what's the deal. I've been thinking of getting a ring, but I would prefer a jacket(mostly cause of looks)

jackets and rings have the same effects, they just added in the jackets to give you a choice to choose between the jackets or the rings.
