Getting Randomly Attacked By Other Players

Hi, I'm new to this server (like, a few days new)... and learned very quickly that we can attack anyone and be attacked at anytime. Is this some kind of unwritten rule on FRO? Just attack whoever you feel like because you're feeling 'random' that one day (true story)? I noticed I haven't been attacked by other players in towns, but it's happened several times in dungeons where I'm minding my own business and trying to get my quest items and then suddenly, someone teleports in, sees me, and think it's funny to kill me and then run off (or teleport somewhere). So what I'd really like to know is, what are the fine lines on killing whoever you please on this server so I don't go and make noob mistakes?

(I hope this isn't a repeat topic. I tried doing a search and nothing came up so I hope this the right place to ask this.)

This is a PK server so brace yourself for such random attacks. Random attacking/bullying of newcomers is not a nice thing to do and is generally frowned upon, but it is not against the rules.

If you are not yet ready to fight back, then just hotkey your warp command and concentrate on whatever you are farming and get geared first.

alt+m then set your warp coordinates for easy escape... take it constructively and be motivated to get stronger.. gear yourself with demi human redux for higher chance of surviving an ambush...

The server is flagged as a PK server. This means that in dungeons/fields pvp is enabled. There's no rule against randoming people.
