i think fRO should implement this. this is very useful specially buying ingredients or buying starting items like the items being vended at the mall. of course they're using zeny, and should stay that way. because clicking the vends one by one is very time consuming IMHO.

The suggestion itself seems decent, but another thing you could do yourself is record data in a spreadsheet and make it organized for yourself.

Perhaps even make it an online document (google drive) so people can add new things to it if they wish to collaborate.

This is an intermediate solution, which works similar to your suggestion and might even be more visually helpful (if you add maps and POI).

What do you mean record data? I'm so dumb I can't understand anything you said. Can you instruct me with this? I want to make this happen. :3

I think what he's trying to say is that you basically make a table of vendors in which every vendor can input the items and prices he's selling.

That way you can create a document in which everyone can easily find what they're looking for.

However this would require frequent updating from the vendors. As most vendors just @at though I don't think this would work well.

Making spreadsheets always is the first step to managing your own inventory/database of whatever you wish to survey. Probably can be done server side, was just giving a suggestion as an intermediate solution.

It requires time and due to the document being available to others, you don't have to update it yourself.

A vendor bot could be scripted to record data and put that data on-line in a database too. It would be wise to ask permission for that before you would get (IP) banned for it. This will provide the same functionality as the @at, and is then available even when not in the game (as it's hosted elsewhere).

I might be thinking too complicated, but certain solutions could be provided by the players themselves with a little handy work. Anyhow, I'll support the suggestion for simplicity's sake.

Well the easiest solution to this problem is probably just enabling the @whosells command.

Right you are brotha!

and what if the vendor isn't there anymore? what if he moved coordinates? recording/updating it online or in a spreadsheet is even more time consuming IMO. wouldn't it be better if we could use @whosells command and just @warp to the coordinates? plus we could pick the cheapest and it could make our lives more easier don't you think? :3

btw its not a problem though. i'm just suggesting for better gaming experience.

Before I thought this command was enabled here, I don't know why. >.< I've always thought it was verrrrrrrry useful though, People will vend more if this command is enabled, imo.
