Depends on the situation and enemy you're facing.

If you're fighting a full Asura Champ you'll need the Devis to survive, but if the champ uses TSS you'll die fast on Devis so you need to switch cloaks. You'll need to switch cloaks often anyways since most classes use a Thana weapon and a non-Thana weapon to counter Skolls.

I'd recommend having 3 cloaks:

First with 2 Skolls

Second with 2 Raydrics

Third with 2 Devis

1skoll+1ray is good too, since you cant change that frequently and if two or more attacked you, at least u cant both tank a bit

& Just having a few cloaks is stupid.

Shrouds:

Aquaring - 33% Resistance to Water.

Marse - 30% Resistance to Water.

Firering - 33% Resistance to Fire.

Jakk - 30% Resistance to Fire.

Hode - 30% Resistance to Earth.

Dustiness - 30% Resistance to Wind.

Skoll - Decrease vit Def by 40%, Max HP+6%, PDODGE+ 1

Noxious - 10% Resistance to Ranged, 10% Resistance to Neutral

& That's not even all. Don't stick to one thing just because some people tell you to, That is stupid, You have to try and figure stuff out for yourself and make shit work on your own asking everyone for their opinion isn't always the best thing, What's convenient isn't always best. If you study and test you can Resist while dealing damage, even though a bunch of people don't think it's possible. And having one hat on with friggs(Poo poo+Friggs or Combat knife, Whatever you scrubs wanna call it) is not resistance, That's a noob way of winning, so don't let anyone fool you into thinking that's a good way to win.

& as for the cards you mentioned, you asked why they are good, Deviling only blocks Neutral attack, by a large amount but increases damage from EVERYTHING else. It is a good card 1 on 1, But in team fights, you are bound to get killed wearing them. Radyric is for Neutral attacks as well, It doesn't lower such a large amount, but it doesn't increase dmg taken, Unlike the Deviling, Deviling is ideal for fighting Acid Demo, Asura, Occult, Martyr & I'm sure i'm missing more.

im using 2 skoll cards on my cloack ang gr+tao on my armor.

and that is my current default gear especially during woe.

if you are pvping... you must 1st know what job are you fighting with, then make a combo armor and cloacks depends on situation.

& That is without all the hype ass gear or w/e. I was playing Knight set beating them with dual dev. o.o

i think the champ is not yet geared. u can try ur luck @for_fild01. co'z there are many champ powerful and geared. i try it b'coz . im using [LK] im calculating how to reduce dmg asura. there not the same. 1st try i use 2deviling to my cloak and my armor is 2xtao,ghostring[dead] ouch.. 2nd try i use 1ray, 1 deviling to my cloak and my armor is 2xtao,ghostring [dead]ouch.. 3rd try i use 2raydric to my cloak and my armor is 2xtao,ghostring[survive]. some damage is 1/4, 1/2, of my life. some times in the red line. the sad there is LK is coming (KSP) using Bowling bash w/thanatos. (dead). 2hit. not to return. it depends of ur opponent battle.

To reduce a Asura it's

Shield with Demihuman reduction(usakoring), 2xDevs, GR.

Asura is one of the skills that is unable to be enchanted with elements, so it's always neutral.

The only way they can affect that DMG would be with Demihuman damage, % modifiers, & their maximum SP and amount of total SP as he is about to Asura.

my lk is not geard. im calculating damage only. i use LK bcoz more hp not easy to died.
