plok123 Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 Well, I don't know if this has been suggested before but is it possible to include the time difference between you and the server when typing the command @time/@servertime? or actually putting your time and the server's time? Like based on your IP address or something? And the server time in the website, will it be better if it's in 24hrs like in-game and show your time or difference along with it in the website and/or control panel? Because many players have difficulties regarding time difference and have troubles especially during WOE unless they were already informed by other guild mates. But I do think that it would still be useful to show your time and the server's time for everyone.
ChainBreak Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 just look at the server time and your time then calculate the difference? You only need to do that twice a year anyways. o_o
plok123 Posted April 23, 2013 Author Report Posted April 23, 2013 (edited) I mean i'm ok and all that. But wouldn't it be a useful tool to have it in game? especially for new players who have no clue on the time difference or even where the server's time is based on. Then instead of explaining to them about this and that, just tell them to type the command @time. Edited April 23, 2013 by plok123
ChainBreak Posted April 24, 2013 Report Posted April 24, 2013 New players probably wont care about the servertime difference untill they are geared and do WoE. When that time comes they can just ask their guildmates. Dunno why you want to make the GMs do even more coding when it's not really necessary.

Veracity Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 I don't believe this would be really plausible... It's not that hard to figure out what the time difference is, and you can always ask other people.
