This will be similar to what Precious Bio suggested in the previous thread. The difference is I would like to expand the suggestion to apply in general to other requirements such as Cloud Essence and Chills of Death.

The spike in price of Spiritual Whispers may be the most significant now, but I think it would make more sense to tackle the whole set of requirements rather than just improving the situation for SW, as drops like Cloud Essence and Chills of Death are anticipated to go on a price hike once SW price drop.

I suggest to modify Bloody Knight, Gryphon and Valkryie to have the same spawn as Chimera.

I am neutral about this honestly. This quest was supposed to be hard and takes time. I see the point of having difficulty in getting the items, but that was intended for this quest. And for the other suggestion by Precious Bio, it was different. She was suggesting the lowering of spawn time of the MVP. I know that Valk Randgris spawn slaves still drop Spiritual Whispers and that was the reason why people want to make valk randgris spawn faster. However, Valk Randgris spawns at an abnormally long time(around 2-3 hours) So I see the point on making it just one hour.

The other needed items weren't really that hard to get, it just takes time. For me, I have no problem either way, increasing the spawn on one map, or just decreasing the spawn time. If people reject this, I am ok with it as well.

I agree with Shino, you see players who are not even a week into the game with rings now, it is already so easy. It is meant to have some difficulty, if you implement this suggestion someone could farm a ring in like 2 or 3 hours.

Then lets have them people overprice Spiritual Whispers to like 1k tokens.

As for ppl who isn't even a week into the game having rings, give thx to those responsible of releasing a guide.

Back when there wasn't a guide in the wiki, you could get 1 Spiritual Whispers for like max 10 tokens.

So for those who actually don't have a life and hunts all day 24/7, kudos, you're on your way to becoming filthy rich.

The way i see it, server is trying to reduce difficulty and resulted abuse of the quest, most evident from the release of the guide publicly in wiki. If the guide is released to prevent people from hording the quest and making profit from it, i don't see why things can't be done about nine realm requirements because people are hording the drops and artificially inflating the price, just like how BoS price climbed from 150 tokens to 1k tokens within a month.

I just look for Valks from time to time.

In total all I got was about 5 in a week. Still I don't think you should just change the reqs just because you don't like them.

The stuff is supposed to be hard to get, but it's still not impossible. If you rather buying the stuff that's your decision.

No one is asking the requirements to be changed in the first place.

Since Chimera who drops Damp Darkness at a 50% drop rate, and it spawns instantly after death, I don't see how this can't be done to Valks.

Unless like I said those who don't have anything else to do with their life but Rag all day 24/7, they can horde the drops and sell it like really overpriced.

I myself have a job during daytime, and I only play like 3-4 hours a day after work, find that these items were really easy to hunt back in the days when the ring quest guide wasn't officially published on the forum.

Now that the guide is posted, its becoming almost impossible to even see a Valk to kill.

So what do we do? We buy. But what happened?

All I see everyday is people who horde these said items and trying to sell them at a very ridiculous price.

I tried offering 30 tokens each, and they told me that isn't an amazing price. lol

Reviving this since there's gonna be an update coming soon (i guess?)

Hope something can be done in the coming update regarding this. Spiritual Whisper has doubled the price since the start of the topic, and almost a 1000% increase in price since the release of the guide, and still on the raise.

We can either make bloody knight, valkyrie and gryphon instant spawn with lower drop rate so it will be more difficult for people to horde and overprice the items, or maybe implement an inflation control npc that sells the items so the prices will be capped at a certain level (like how king set parts will never go above 100 tokens). I'm more in favor of the former

I'm including bloody knight and gryphon in the list since i think they will be the next in line if only valkyrie/S.W. gets fixed. So might as well tackle it together.

Personally I think it's the respawn rate. Valks are supposed to have 2 maps they spawn on, odin_tem02 and odin_tem03. One valk would spawn in odin_tem02 and 3 would spawn in odin_tem03, but that's not the case here. Only 2 sawn in odin_tem03 and none spawn in odin_tem02. Valks are also supposed to have a 15 minute respawn rate in odin_tem03. This isn't the current respawn rate for valks. If this is fixed it will be a little easier to get the drops, and will lower the prices gradually, instead of having a huge price drop and people being pissed off.

As far as the bloody knight and gryphons, the Bloody knights are supposed to have a 30 minute respawn on the 4 gefenia maps, and there is supposed to be 3 gryphons sawning on ra_fild01 (with a 15 minute respawn rate). Just figured I would give you all a heads up on how it's supposed to be set up.

The spawnrates are from the renewal datas.

Means 2 Valks every 90~120 minutes.

The spawnrates for the other mobs are also all the same as on renewal.

Even on renewal servers the spawn rate is 1 on odin_tem02 and 3 on odin_tem03, every 15 minutes. Perhaps this should be the new respawn time to bring those prices down a bit.

Nope, that's incorrect. If you look up the renewal mob information on RMS, it clearly says Valkyrie (mi: 1765) spawns: odin_tem03 - Odin Temple F3 + 2x / 90~120 min

Yeah a slight increase in valk spawn would be nice. Atm the price for a s.whisp is the same as tg card.

That's way too expensive.

We'll discuss this, it's not very likely though. We will probably have to come up with another solution. If we increase the spawn time of these mobs, then people will just hoard the ones we don't. Then people will ask us to increase those, too. Etc. etc. Until the quest is no longer as challenging as it should be. Since the guide was released and people no longer have the challenge of looking for locations, it's even more important that the quest requirements themselves are still difficult to obtain.

Well what's currently happening isn't working so perhaps making a change of adding 1 more valk and increasing the spawn rate to 15 minutes would drop the prices gradually. Considering the other drops are easy as shit to get anyway the whispers are the only thing that's difficult to get.

If the spawnrates are changed to 15 minutes S.Whisps won't be worth anything anymore.

Since the droprate is 50% everyone will be able to get as many as they want. The price will not lower gradually, rather it will just drop to 0.
