Ashenverdic Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 I just downloaded and installed ForsakenRO and everytime i open the patcher nothing happens how long does it take for the game to open and why is mine not opening???
ScarletDevilmoon Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 Try to restart your computer, unplug your computer again or redownload, but also I believe you must have all in one patch plus manual patch in order to work better :o
coffee break Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 do you have / install Direct X? If you cannot run Direct X, you cannot play RO.
xXxHowlxXx Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 Mine is doing same thing I tried reinstall and restarting hmmm what could this be???
Bishop Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 Please use the search function of the forums. There's already multiple solved topics regarding this. You have to set up your setup.exe first before the game knows which graphic options to use to launch the game. 1: Open setup.exe 2: Select your graphic card at the first dropdownbox. 3: press OK. If you don't see your graphicscard at the first dropdownbox then you'll have to update your Direct X.
xXxHowlxXx Posted November 27, 2012 Report Posted November 27, 2012 (edited) hey bishop does the game no longer work on vista cause all my computers (xp and 7) can run it except my vista desktop Edited November 28, 2012 by xXxHowlxXx
Bishop Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 It runs perfectly fine on Vista. Make sure you start the game through the FkenRO.exe client after setting up the setup.exe. Try running it as administrator. If that doesn't work run it without administrator rights.
Cookiezzzz Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 The client is located where ever you downloaded the files. It is named, "Fkenro" Step 1: Right click the client Step 2: Select properties Step 3: Click on compatibility tab Step 4: Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select operating system (e.x. Windows 7, Vista) Step 5: Under Privilege level, check " Run this program as an administrator" After these steps, run the client again. If the problem still persists, repeat the steps for the patcher and run the patcher. -Cookiezzzz / Inextricable / Devoted.
