Tweaking The Woe!~

Some suggestions!

1. We all know that in order to woe, we need to have the best equips possible. Thats why the prize now is not that good (the gold helm I believe?)

-So my solution here is to have different woe prizes (like obtainable through woe only items - with or without effect, And/or some items like the BR prize which gives 25 all stats, since mid gears give 20 all stats.

MAKE THEM UNTRADEABLE. make them work for it.

2. Woe should be split into 2. Major and minor castle. in majors, you are allowed to use donates but in minor donates are automatically unequipped.

-This will make newbies have a chance in winning.

3. There should be another winner for the guild that hold the emp the longest.

-no afk'ing allowed >=)

And to prevent them for getting it in 1 woe, we should have a point system.

example the item is 5000 points, 1 kill is point and if they win major they get 50 points and when they get minor they will get 30 points. That way, they will always join woe.

Edit:only all those who are present and not the whole guild are awarded with points.

I know you can do this guys. You are very hard working ^.~

Thats all. Positive criticism will be accepted ^^

Emperium auroras and imperial helms, both of which are the strongest items in game (or imperial is required to make the strongest helm), are WoE rewards. :) So the rewards aren't really the problem, I don't think. Your other suggestions are interesting ideas, we'll let the community discuss them before GMs weigh in. :)

^ uhm, how about cute hang out Headgears with no effects instead? or a hg that says "I conquer WOE" or such XDDD

hmm i dont rly agree, if newbies got emps too, ppls that have buy new emps for very high price, was rly bad, if newbs also can got it...

^ These explain 1 and 2 of your suggestions. Sorry, but for 3. It isn't possible for people to be afk Lol, if no one is gonna attack the castle people are usually afk lol. Not only that, but If we get another award, lets say~ a Forsaken Helm, then the prices are gonna decrease. (Please give us an example of the award) As for the point system, I find it useless to implent, why waste time implenting this if we already have very good drops. Sorry, but -1 for me.

Idk that sounded like a great idea, ive been doing some research on Woe and making 2 sets of woe might be alittle extreme, but i really like the idea of a point system, that way its fair for all and not fair for a guild of only elites +1 for me

WoE is all about strategy. One might need to go on WoE more often than not, to know the Dos and Donts, and of course having a cohesive guild all together. I fully disagree, entirely actually. Its not only just about being an elite or a newbie. The elites were once newbies that faced the older generation of pros. It takes time to learn. In my opinion, newbies might get too comfortable with fighting against newbies and therefore not learning much and grow. It takes one to bully and the other to grow up and defeat the bully. Adaptability.

If you want to get those WoE equips, you might take a while, as the castle are new and the guild leader would definitely be the first to get the drops following ranking officers. Your turn will come, and if they don't come, I suggest you to make a guild or join one that do gives you drops.

Br equips and GvG equips are just the better looking and rarer versions of WoE Drop. Its just for show, it does the same as WoE Drops, you can just wear the common ones, it would still be sufficient enough to be on par with the elites.

Although I disagree, I have to say your point system do sound interesting but the longer I think about it, the more it doesn't make sense to me. Traditionally, guilds who join WoE gets the castle by hitting it last before the time ends. And if the point system do get implemented, I can just dual client and kill as many as I can to get the points. Easy as that. It is flawed, its better to get the drops through treasure box and let the guild leader decides, this shows how great of the leader or how selfish of a bastard he is. Its all about guild management and strategy. The fundamental of a WoE is how a guild work it out and stay as a group and grow. People would stay and join WoE if they are rewarded by their leaders correctly. It is not the WoE that is the problem, it may be your guild system's problem.

And speaking whether it is fair or not, if there is a winner they are bound to be losers. You just have to keep joining WoEs to get those castle. If you do manage to get it, the drops is yours. As simple as that. It is more fair that way, I wouldn't want to be a winner and the loser still gets rewarded, and like you said, you have to work for the drops. It won't just be yours if you don't do anything.

I hope this isn't a negative critism though, :(

confucius says! lol

i think that in this suggestion there could be something fun. i remember in the past we did suggest a Mini woe. like only Knight sets or back then Elite sets. ofc that was back then and with the new forum layout you cant view older posts. but i think having a smaller woe with noob items kind of like Annihilation event could be fun. the drops would have to be different since its a less intense woe but its good practice for starting players.

I think the main issue he is there isnt enough people or guilds fighting in woe so there is room for too much learning idk...

You, my young padawan, you're an ass. Haha! Bish.

But I have to agree with Beautiful regarding events like Annihilation, where items used here are of non donation-able, its a good event and a great place for newbies to start practicing on their skills. I can't agree on a WoE, but an event like that would be great! And events like this utilizes all classes, that includes the underplayed Priest class due to the fact that consumables item like seeds are prohibited from use.

Well, I hope the server grows again. I do hope our server's population would increase soon, it'll be fun again, I hope.

i don't know if we can "create" something to encourage guilds to defend actually, and not just wait for the last moment to get the castle. a newbie (non-donation) woe sounds tempting, but keep in mind that it won't be "newbie friendly". it might even be more annoying than normal castle since old guys can just transfer their cards to knight sets and there are tons of things that old guys still have that are really good but aren't donation items(people that have thana or at least icepick[1]). especially if we know that newbies go to that castle, it would be easier for us to break it.

Thanks for your suggestions, but there hasn't really been enough support for us to do this from the community.
