Genesis Posted October 14, 2012 Report Posted October 14, 2012 Hello All, As many of you know, we have been working very hard to get new players. the good news is that it is indeed working. We are getting dozens of new players on a daily basis. However, Veracity and I have had to assist them. In order for us to release new updates that will fix issues and keep the server fresh, we need GMs to be active. This does not mean going on and hosting an event and logging. We need GMs who will sit at the helpdesk and assist new players as well as host an event or two. How I do it is I keep the fRO window open and work on code in another window. We are not asking you to be on 24/7 to assist new players. However, you are required to spend at the very least an hour a day sitting at the helpdesk and welcoming new players. This means PMing new players once you see the broadcast that they joined. My suggestion would be to host an event then hang around the helpdesk. Feel free to socialize. I'd rather have a few active GMs than a team full of inactive GMs. I will be cleaning out any and all GMs who are inactive from this point on, no excuses I have heard far too many already. Thank you!
