Dazz Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 It is wonderful that you are integrating new quests and custom content in game but I think it is time to embrace the renewal patch to get the content updates because without it we are severely limited. One in particular is the battlegrounds, it provides an excellent means allowing players to pit their skills against each other in matches such as Deathmatchs and Capture the Flag. Also, I think that changing the Vote Npc into more of a shop system where you can browse and look at each individual item would be great.
Veracity Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 Hi Dazz, thanks for your thoughtful suggestions! You actually don't need renewal client in order to have battlegrounds. We're updated with all of the latest renewal content, and we have plans to implement battlegrounds soon. Our vote items are viewable on the control panel with item previews in the wikipedia. We have the vote system set up as we do now to prevent any bugs.
Rayray Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 @Veracity does that include all the skill formulas that was changed in renewal? because if that is the case, you guys need to post the changes. I disagree on adding the 3rd jobs though(if you want it added). those classes will need certain nerfs and changes to meet a high rate server standard. And the server is far from being limited. we have extensive quests and items and many more.

We have all of the latest maps, mobs, items, and quests but we aren't using the renewal interface/client, nor are we using renewal mechanics. We also do not have any plans to add 3rd classes, certainly not in the near future. We feel that third classes on high rate servers are extremely unbalanced and problematic. We only support third class sprites.

Do know though we are working on integrating the best features of renewal with our server so you get the best of both worlds. :)
