If the elite quest is gonna be removed, then are there gonna be no more forsaken weapons and only legendary weapons?

I think the quest will be removed, but the current items will stay in the game

I've talked with Veracity on my other thread. she hinted that there would be legendary equivalents of all the weapons that each class use.. so yeah, the elite daggers will be overshadowed once all the legendary weapons are out.
