Boklek Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 i suggest that pally halb have 10-20% increase in Grand Cross. coz comparing to odin, pally halb is nothing. so to balance the two item i suggest that pally halb will be GC type and odin as Rapid Smith type.
Levis Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 It wouldn't hurt, and I have seen a lot of Pallies going GC Build.
Meka Meka Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 +1. Pally halberd should have the usefulness of a valkyrie weapon, not a nerfed Odin's. 10%-20% sounds like a good place to increase GC damage, but I don't know what's optimal.
Levis Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 Yeah, so for now 10-20% should be a good start to begin with. And as already said, it should be an own Valkyrie weapon with it's own purpose.
gamersrule26 Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 At the moment, I think that the pally halberd is better than odins for pure devo builds. However, I think having a GC boost is a great idea, gives the halberd its own purpose. +2
Perishable Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 I'm not up for it. If you put a GC pally and Desperado gs next to each other, its GG. Physical & Magic Desperado. We will try to survive more than being able to cast our skills on them.
Levis Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 That is not reasonable why not to boost the Pallies themselves with their own skill, and especially Pally halb shall be an own valk weapon. That was said my friend, because it feels like it's a 'weaker' version of the Odin.
Halion Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 how about increasing the hp% and the vit given by pally halberd and let odin be the pvp weapon, so pallies get the tank weapon and the pvp weapon.
Amicable Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 how about increasing the hp% and the vit given by pally halberd and let odin be the pvp weapon, so pallies get the tank weapon and the pvp weapon.I don't think so....Odin is good for tanking, so I think the first suggestion is better :)
Perishable Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 Okay, whatever. I just don't want fRO to keep going towards the boost direction. We need a variety and different combination of pvp. Not anymore power and advantages. 6
7lovestories Posted July 17, 2012 Report Posted July 17, 2012 I guess putting GC boost on Pally Hallberd is okay? Coz Pallies who uses pally hallberd cant do anything but to tank not like those with odin, they can tank and kill at same time. 1
zergling Posted July 17, 2012 Report Posted July 17, 2012 only if they have a build for it and even with an attack baised build they do lose some HP and other stats as well. a 10-20% boost to GC damage should be plenty.
LeRomantique Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 +1 . wont hurt. and gives paladins a choice of style of playing.
Genesis Posted August 16, 2012 Report Posted August 16, 2012 Okay, whatever. I just don't want fRO to keep going towards the boost direction. We need a variety and different combination of pvp. Not anymore power and advantages.Yes, exactly. I'll keep this suggestion open for now, i want to see how many Paladins actually PvP nowadays.
HealHard Posted August 20, 2012 Report Posted August 20, 2012 +1 . wont hurt. and gives paladins a choice of style of playing.nice joke. paladin has no option to be GC in real PVP. So yes indeed 10-20% wont hurt. Anyone. At all.
Veracity Posted December 13, 2012 Report Posted December 13, 2012 We'll most likely test this out ourselves and then try adding it in game, thanks for your suggestion!
