killee07 Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 (edited) How do I use All-in-one? I have a previously installed kRO and Sakray plus the small patch. Should I uninstall them first and then make a fresh install using the all-in-one? 'Cause I don't want to delete my old client in case the all-in-one fails me. Thanks. Aerynth Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Then just click on your All-In-One, it should install Fro in your program files. You can just drag that whole file to your desktop to make it easier for you to search. When you install the All-In-One it should be on a seperate file so no worries. Hope this helps.
Bishop Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Install the all-in-one in a fresh aka folder. You can keep the old folder next to the new one for now if you suspect problems.
killee07 Posted April 16, 2012 Author Report Posted April 16, 2012 Is there really no "data" folder when the all-in-one is installed?
Bishop Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Data folder is in no way needed. All needed files will be read from the numerous .grf files. :)
killee07 Posted April 17, 2012 Author Report Posted April 17, 2012 Thanks Bishop. :) Will placing a modified "data" folder in the fRO folder hurt the client in anyway?
Bishop Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 No it won't hurt the client. However I think our current client prioritizes grf files and only reads those. I don't think it still looks at the regular data folder. Therefore adding the data folder will have no use.
