My vote goes for....

[1]Mint

Creativity - 4

Technical - 3

Execution - 5

Aesthetic - 5

Total - 17

I think its very eye catching. It caught my attention so much. This is the best signature for a Banner. He did not use any render which is impressive. And the simplicity is perfect :>

PS: Old Navy LOL!

First, I'm gonna have to say that I don't think this was the best theme for using a render.

[5] - It's a well done sig, seems a little oversaturated to me but I don't think it's banner material.

**4,4,3,3 = 14

[4] - Nic Cage is f'n scary looking but I love the Adventure Time aspect. Personally I think that

without him in the background this would've been a serious contender.

**4,3,3,3 = 13

[3] - A good sig but this one looks over sharpened/pixelated, and again, I don't think it's banner

material.

**5,4,3,3 = 15

[2] - I think yours is the one exception to my issues with a render in this theme. It's not a ''loud''

image that overpowers your whole sig. It's soft colors border on the dull side but complement

the color scheme of the banner portion of your sig perfectly.

**4,4,5,4 = 17

[1] - To me, this was the only one that screamed " I'm a banner ". It's very simplistic in

an elegant way, loaded with style while remaining not overly done. It's not too busy

with other objects distracting from the theme. Plus, the vibrant color scheme makes

it asthetically pleasing.

** 4,4,5,5 = 18

[0] - Andromeda's banner is by far the best.( ..what's that? ..somethin on my nose?! lolo)

** 5,5,5,5 = 1337

I'm gonna vote for Appie!

Creativity : 4

I like how it's really themed around creativity with the render holding a giant pencil, but at the same time, it doesn't follow the rectangular shape most banners have.

Technical : 4

So it wasn't the most challenging piece, but the fading and subtle light work with the text and render was something most people wouldn't even notice. It's the attention to detail that takes the cake. I'm actually glad it's more simple, since it really is a banner, instead of an expression of a quote or saying.

Execution : 5

It's pretty much flawless. The color is great, the fade was great - everything. I mean...it looks very professional!

Aesthetics : 5

Such a pleasing color combination. I think the banner is the most utilitarian of the bunch - it appeals to the most people, and goes well with the theme. If it'll be used for future SOTW contests, I think most people would agree with that.

why? cause it made my day! made me laugh when I saw it! other entries are too serious and SOTW needs to lighten up for a little and have some fun! two thumbs up!

I'm voting for the second one, Appie's entry.

I believe her entry is the least complex out of the bunch. Also, it would be make a great SOTW banner because her entry goes with every theme that I could think of. It's well excecuted (text, render, patterns), basically it's sImplicity at it's best. :)

on a side note ;

I think 1&2 might make a nice dual banner, with a small adjustment in size.

They kind of flow nicely in a contrasting way if you look at them side by side.

Of course, that's only if all winning parties/host agreed.

I've been on this server trolling its forum for years and I've never done this.... Well here goes....

I'm voting for [2]Appie

*Creativity - 3. Nothing too huge, but good enough.

*Technical - 4. It seems to me the work put in was challenging enough.

*Execution- 4. Everything seems to blend nicely.

*Aesthetic- 5. Definitely my favorite aesthetically. Simple, easy on the eyes, but also very well done. You don't need to be complex or full of clutter to be great.

This picture was by far my favorite. Everyone did a great job but this one looks the most professional. I could see this kind of work being used on legit websites.

I hope this was done correctly. I'm not really an artist or art critic... More of a math kind of guy... Whats more, I'm color blind.

I love the use of the render for this signature. It totally says to me "BAM! Check out this Sig of the Week!" with the way the character is kinda pointing it's gun's in the direction of the text. I quite enjoy the vivid colors, though it might not be for everyone. It's definitely intense color, but I think it fits the image nicely.
