killee07 Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 Hi, I am having problems patching through the patcher which says unpacking error, the file is not a rgz? etc. I'm currently DLing the manual patch and I have a few questions. Does doing the manual patch mean that I will also do manual patching for the future updates? Or will it be the same as though I auto patch (using the patcher) and will be able to use the patcher for the future patches? That's all. Hope my question won't be ignored. Thanks! - Killee
Seraphine Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 (edited) It depends if your still having that problem, the Manual Patch is updated every time a new update comes out. Most players do not have this issue, it usually has something to do with your internet or internet settings. Wasn't really sure what you wanted to know but Ryuk cleared it up. Ryuk Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 You can still use your patcher perfectly fine after manually patching. The manual patch is just there for people that cant update through the patcher. It just updates the grf's and other added files with the latest updates, just like the patcher would normally do for you. The patcher will remain functional even after manually patching. Ps. The manual patching topic will be updated shortly. The small installer on our main page should already be updated. Regards, Ryuk
