How can you know what they want to see if players never suggest anything? Seems like all they do on suggestion topics is just hate on it for their own personal reasons and don't try to expand on the idea. Or logically expand on it.

Well my opinion on this is we need something for pvp to be back like it used to be be it a new set or a new colored wing but in reality all a new wing will do is bring pvp back for what? maybe a month until the hype dies down.

i agree on the set and not because of what people say like ace that its powering up the already geared but pvp needs that, something that seems worthy of a person's time something that will captivate the interest of new players and veterans alike. I would change the prices a bit though make them 30 and the aura 50 that way it will take alot of effort.

Before when people were in pvp with elite sets and new years hats we went in and pvp'd and were there all day now i don't see anyone at all in pvp. Im all for this suggestion it will bring competition, Excitement, and will provide something for people to do instead of just sit in for fild all day and do nothing.

The problem with this is the existing items already add a lot. We can't just keep "topping" ourselves or else eventually we'll end up with items that add +50 all stats or even more. I agree we need to take a step in a new direction; however, this isn't the way to go in my opinion. As players have pointed out, not just anyone can win the PvP ladder and by adding these items as ladder rewards we would just be widening the gap between the rich and the poor even more. One of the goals I'd like for us to take on is closing this gap significantly instead. Acetrainer and a few others have been advocating for changes to benefit new players, and I'd be more than happy to hear all of those ideas in a new suggestion topic or through PM. We're going to make this one of our top priorities in future updates. We already implemented a lot of the great suggestions we got concerning this last time and I'd love to hear what else we could do.

That being said, we also need to have something to entertain older players as well. It's going to be very difficult to strike a balance between the two. Your feedback concerning this would be extremely helpful. (Personally, I think WoE 2.0 and Battlegrounds would likely be a good solution to this). Adding more colors of the PvP ladder wings is a great option too, but as someone else has said, it wouldn't be a long term solution. Class specific sets COULD be an option if they're done carefully, though I'm not entirely sold on this idea myself.

While helping new players is good. What about all of the people who have dedicated a lot of time to this game to reach a dead zone? We have been in a rut for so long. And the recent updates since Friggs shield haven't give anyone much more to do to get out of the rut.

We added two automated events and the prizes you need to win 10 times to get 1 event token?.....they should just give an event token. And they're just killing porings the whole time again.

This is something for the people who have dedicated their time to do. Most of the big suggestions I have done have always included noobies because I always made sure their is a spot for them in everything. This isn't one of them as much. But Noobies are able to win ladder. People in Non Donation Pvp have won ladder a lot of times. There is always a shot for everyone.

I completely agree with what you're saying. The staff has been discussing what we can do to improve the server, and we decided we need to better address the needs of new players. However, we also need to do things for players like you that are older, have been here a long time, and already have most of the best equipment in game. To appeal to both crowds is difficult, but it's something we need to try to do... To be able to successfully pull it off, we need to work collaboratively with old players on coming up with solutions. That's why I made the 2 new topics, one is for ideas to help new players, the other is to come up with ideas to keep older players entertained. While I'm not ruling this out as a possibility for the latter, I want to see if there are any other solutions that could work better. Some players have been expressing frustration/unhappiness with the server lately, and we're trying to give you guys a chance to change things and make a difference for the better together.

I completely understand where this suggestion is coming from. However, like I said, if we continue to top the existing items we have, it creates a cycle. What happens when most of the well-geared players get these equips (and yes, it's undeniable they will likely be the first to get these) and become bored again. Then we have to release new items that are even better, and it continues on and on until we have items that add +50 all stats. I think we should try to find other ways to solve the problem you raised if possible. Any suggestions to that end belong in the other topic I've made and would be highly appreciated, although these new ladder prizes can still be discussed here as well.

Well Nines, people like yourself who can afford to buy skill on this server will continue to be overpowered and the people who can barely afford a single f-set let alone a valk weapon will continue to be underwhelmed. Not even counting the people who are just starting to get their elite sets together and are further discouraged by PvP because of people like you who kill them because of their lack of items.

Classes on this server need to be nerfed to create balance instead of the half-@ssed attempt to make each class stronger than the last.

Hi, Kiko here (Enuo) I agree with nine's suggestion, maybe not all of up but i do agree with it, maybe you can make the new set he suggested pvp use only (pvp room not for_fild01 or anywhere else) possibly be used in pvp events too who knows?...mm nah maybe not lol. I've been at the dead zone of this game for far too long, i appreciate all the recent updates with the friggs and weaps n such but now what? I have fully geared accounts with 6+ f.king sets, sure not everyone has what me or my friends have but then again I've also been playing for what 5 years ish? so yeah, i agree with nine's suggestion...but...to hell with that new aura thats a no no , fuck u nines lol

@Acetrainer: I dont like the way you attack Nines just because he has tons of stuff or their friends has way tons more of stuff. Its not their fault that they DO know how to play the game cuz like, most of Nines's friends, including myself, worked their asses off to be what they are atm, some of them no lmao.

@Veracity: If we want to improve the server with new suggestions and stuff, why makin them trough pm's? Im not agree with that little part that u said. Cuz what if theres a new update and the stuff added its not on the suggestion topic? that b bad yo!

Back to the topic: Im 100% agree on this suggestion but, like Kikobby <3 said, that aura is a NO NO lmfao. But we DO need ways to improve the pvp of the server, problem is, basically theres no way cuz, fRO has it all thank god, imo, fRO is the most complete server when you are talking about PvP. Adding new things like battleground and WoE 2.0 will only call, imo, the new players or those woe addicts, not the old crew because, most of them are here just for pvp ( Including myself ). So yeah we need to find diff ways to call them out. Buffing some stuff wont do the job, so thats why the staff needs the support of you guys with awesome suggestions! And remember, if your suggestion will not help the newbies out then, dont make it, u gon get tr00lled big time. So yeah thats it.

Another thing that pvp just isn't what it used to be before people actually pvp'd 1v1 or 1v3 maybe a pally here or there but now its just ridiculous i can see why people don't pvp its not about fun and pride anymore its about who can get the biggest party and most pally's. Non-donation pvp is basically dead now because no one will go in and no new players can compete with the donation pvp room. I don't think pvp will be the same as it was but i sure hope that with suggestions like these we can fix it.

I agree with Nines idea.

It's annoying actually that people keep saying "what about the new players!" Where have they been left out? Oh wait, they're pretty much the focus of this server now. Does that mean the rest of the server should be neglected and cast aside? No. The strive should always be to improve on the server in a way that benefits the server as a whole.

Now, the set is a great idea. I'm personally not afraid of going beyond what is currently available because I think there should always be something better to work for. Instead of having 10-20 of everything you need and more tokens then you know what to do with, why not have something better you actually work for? The latest stuff released ends up being pretty cheap or just a prettier version of something that already exsists. But, it's just stuff you buy. What are you gonna do with all these fancy new items if pvp is dead? Oh, sit in town with your pretty new items and do nothing.

I disagree with those armors/set and aura. What are you thinking? Killed a few too many brain cells nines.

No pvp set should be stronger than f.king set and no aura should be stronger than emp.

The servers too elitist as is, those items would only make it worse. I could maybe agree on adding items equal to what we have (pvp rucks, imps, emps, or something different looking than sacreds but same effect).

PvP is stagnant but making the server more elitist isn't the answer, in my opinion.

Did you even read what ramen said? lolol you just agreed to agree with the suggestion if your agreeing with him. He said that this will help increase pvp activity. And if I recall a suggestion to cancel parties from pvp has been accepted. So pvp would get way more lively friends killing friends and all of that.

And people buying it? Well they'd have to wait a long time because I doubt anyone would sell these items aside from black sacreds.

We'll definitely add recolors to the PvP ladder prizes and we'll consider some of the suggestions here for new prizes as well, though there is no guarantee they will be implemented.
