Halion Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 For your post, please provide the following: 1) The guild you are bidding for. 2) Your character's name (the guild leader). 3) A screenshot taken during the period of bidding of your bid that proves you have whatever amount you have chosen. It says " The guild you are bidding for. " means only the members from that guild are allowed to use the benefits from the hideout and no one else from any other guild, doesn't matter if they are allies. Suggestion: Only the members from the guild that got the hideout should be allowed to use the benefits, no alliances or friends from other guilds. It have to be for a single guild, not for others, they could be abusing the buffs and I saw many players having the buffs without being in the current guild that holds the hideout. I include myself here ^ 2nd suggestion: punish those who abuse it with a 1~2 week ban and reset their position. what you think?
Xtopher Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 (edited) I agree there should be a more hefty punishment than a slap on the hand. Its too easy to abuse as is. Edited July 21, 2011 by Xtopher
Ryuk Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 "The guild you're bidding for" is there to proof that you're the leader of a guild. Only that guild(leader) gets the power to summon the people to the hide-out. If this guildleader decides to let other people outside of the guild save there then that's up to him. After all he payed the most tokens so he decides who gets to go in and who doesn't. On the other hand I do agree that this guild should be an guild advantage and not a randompersonthatIlikecanjointoo advantage. So I'm going to stay neutral on this one...

Only people who are in the guild that bid for the hideout are allowed to get the benefits of it, including the buffer. People that join the guild and then leave but continue to use the guild hideout are ABUSING and we are going to start punishing players that do this. If the guild leader recalls players that are not in his guild, lets them save there, etc., that is punishable abuse as well. 1
Ryuk Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 (edited) Alright might add that to the rules then with each bidding topic or something, instead of leaving it an "unwritten" rule. Cause obviously as stated above people didn't quite know (or knew and did it anyway >_>;;). Also as stated in my previous post I also think the guildhideout should be a 1 guild advantage. So I have perfect understanding and agreement with the given rule :3. Edit : I also know the guildnotice of the guild that has it atm also stated not to save and then leave the guild, Yet I suppose some people decided to do it either way. Just saying this so it's clear that the guildleader did warn the members and the members must have been aware of the rule. Edited July 21, 2011 by Ryuk
Veracity Posted July 24, 2011 Report Posted July 24, 2011 We're going to start punishing people who violate these rules. A topic will be made with more details soon. - Accepted -
NikkiLee69666 Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 An easy solution to this would be to have an NPC that will allow only the Guild members of the guild that has the hideout in and remove the ability to set your save point there. All the GM's would have to do each time a new guild get's the GH is change the guild permitted inside.
Seraphine Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 This was already accepted, not sure why but you shouldn't be able to post here but you can, anyway closing this.
