Life is the ultimate test yes at times life aren't good and are unhappy, everyones dream is to be rich and do nothing all day and every day, but as people realize that they can't be the next bill gates and have to do nothing for most of their life even though he worked to where he is, everyone realizes their going to live a normal life and suffer through what regular people have to go through everyday everyone in the end just sticks through it or they don't. Grades will only take you so far your skills and talents can decide who you are persure your dream and don't assume an unhappy job somewhere where you don't want to work do what you think will make you happy not because you have to feed your family if you don't suffer through the most horrendous job in the world,as Annie said make the most of life and don't worry about things so much i mean for me school is nothing because i already know what im going to do and involves basic education and is something im good at and im happy if i had the oppourtunity to get payed for that and im willingy to take the risk, im weighing alot on wether im good enough at it or not but it's my dream and im gonna follow it up not saying my life will be easy as a millionaire but it's what i think will make me the most happy in my life. Sorry if that was a little long just got on a rant and didn't stop.

I think there's a major difference between the US and Germany. Here, what you need are good grades to be able to get to university and study. Because if you haven't studied then you will automatically get paid a lot less than those who may not be as skilled but who studied. It's really stupid, yeah. Sometimes people get lucky and find a great job with a nice salary, but that's rare. It's realllly difficult finding a good working place here that also makes you happy. Otherwise you'll get big problems living. In my case, I didn't/couldn't go to university because I was a fool and didn't care about school. Only in the vocational school I attended I did very well because I realized I needed to do that. My mom studied psychology and all kinda stuff and she earns over 2000 euros a month and she still has money probs. A normal worker who only did school for 9 or 10 years gets a job for 1000 euros. The work situation here in Germany is horrible and unbalanced and unfair. It's true that your skills and talents aside from school can get you somewhere, too. But it's not so easy to just follow your dreams and do a job that makes you happy. After all, you want to have enough money to enjoy life sometimes too, right? I'm not trying to undermine you, but these are the facts where I live.

Or maybe I'm just influenced by my parents who have never been satisfied with life.

Once in awhile people have the tendency to be negative towards life, you cannot blame them for being so pessimistic. Bombardments of hardship and obstacles seems to be more of a bother than a test of endurance.

Boredom plays a great part in such, it affects everything you do and everything for who you are. People themselves knows that they can do something about it but choose not to? Its a contradictions towards your own self esteem as a human being. So its appropriate to say that " Life can sucks (Sometimes) " *nods*. If you have somehow found your true happiness in life, then congratulation, it is only be a fleeting moment of rejoice to behold till something bad comes along. Just remember that you can always retreat to what makes you happy, once in awhile.

Sorry, it probably sounded like grades don't matter in the US x.x I know they do. I pretty much just meant that here you don't have super great chances without having gone to university.

Like Danny said, it's unnatural to be all positive everyday. If you have been raised in an abusive family where the mother is a prostitute and the dad violently rapes his children, then how do you genuinely smile? People don't all learn the same social skills or have the same experiences, that you can say it's their choices to let their life suck. We have our own will, yes. But that doesn't mean that we know we do or that we learned to use it.

But! I prefer being happy too and enjoying the moment, so I also agree with you there.
