I use the Google Chrome Browser, I have a google software run phone, a google TV, I only use google when searching on the interwebz, etc. Who else thinks google is taking over? Not that it's a bad thing. I'd actually love to see Apple get over run by google. I hate myself for even buying a product where the owner is an immoral person and pretty much stole someone else's fame and glory. Google's products are much better anyways. The iPod series is such a scam. To update to play apps you had to PAY just to be allowed to put apps on your iTouch (1G). Here's the thing, in the long run, google will destroy apple. Why? Apple has one too far up their butt to allow other manufacturers to make their product, so it only comes from one manufacturer. Google allows their products to be built all over. This allows maximum productivity for google, while it keeps apple limited. One thing is fo' sho'.. I want to see google create their own OS :O!! Who else is a supporter of Google > Apple? Thoughts? Comments? Or am I the only weirdo out there that feels strongly about this, lol
supream Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 google dosent have a a phone, it comes on a phone sort of like a app. google dosent have music, or a portable music player. google dosent have its own computer line. what it dose have is the most visited cite, good search engine, email, email phone calls(new one), internet browser, and maybe a little more. dosent even seem like google is competing with apple on the same services, except for a homepage.
Sensation Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 Read Google Minds. I'm a google fan too, but in all honesty, IE9 is at the moment the best browser in almost every aspect, even though, I still use Chrome.

They buy a company like every month (those don't come cheap). Apple's stock continues to grow. They continue to surpass expectations. Steve Jobs knows what he's doing and Apple fans will buy anything he pushes.

They may not be the actual 'phone', but the software that runs it may as well count it as a google 'phone'. Apple doesn't have music either, just a music player, iTunes which really isn't great. Winamp ftw :) But yes, the computer line is what google needs to compete with Apple and I tell you it's coming. That's a huge step and may take awhile, but mark my words when it happens Apple is over. Google is competing with apple on the same services, just indirectly. Their android software releases prove it, which was also a such a huge success for google. To the person who says google may be over spending, I'd say naah. They stayed quiet for a long time and didn't spend a lot of their money, so it was stock piled and now in the bad American economy their taking their chances with exactly what they saved their money for. The company costs are lower these days - just wait till the economy goes back up. Google will own all those companies and they'll be worth waaay more then what they paid. And right now they can easily maintain them since, well.. google is rich as fuhhh lol
