OK... when we tried to retrieve the password it said:

* The username contains invalid characters!

WTH IS A INVALID CHARACTER?? LOL

I think those are some of them so called invalid characters.

I assume you mean you're using the control panel to try to recover your friend's password correct?The control panel doesn't accept account names with 'invalid characters' as those listed by Nadtorious, use a ticket to recover your password for this case.
