DarrenJin Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 I find that there are quite a lot of hours when GMs are offline and the heads should recruit a larger variety of GM's of different timezones so some players don't miss out on events and request for help that is duly needed. Ive seen quite a lot of times a person struggling to find a GM in vain as not even one is on. A lot of players would probably appreciate having a GM's helping hand there to resolve their problems.
Ryuk Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 (edited) If they're having problems they can always PM me on the forums, post in the support section or make a ticket. In-game is not the only way of contacting GMs. I can't be online on RO during college/work. However if you message me on the forums I will be notified and be able to respond to them between classes or at break time. Edit : As for your suggestion, time zones are already considered when GMs are hired. Edited November 22, 2010 by Ryuk
Wish Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 And actually...we have GMs from timezones all over. Asia, Europe, South America, Central America, North America, and more. The biggest problem is that, while American GMs are sleeping, others are at school and vice versa, so yes, there is a gap in which GMs aren't/can't be on. And those that can be on aren't going to be on for 12 hours at a time. But like Ryuk said, there are other ways to get in touch with a GM. MSN and forum PMs/posts are always available. Already done, so this is - Rejected -
