But remember everyone, this quest is supposed to be difficult and there are no guides allowed, so please don't go around asking for npc locations or how to get a certain items, or stuff like that.

If you want just a list of Fro custom maps then I doubt you'll find one... At any rate congratulations Nueves, Juan, and Ken. I'm just missing one item from finishing the quest. It's really making it miserable lmao.

I've killed a particular mvp around ~40 times and can't move on because of an item it drops where as some people have made or are almost done with their second shield. Luck has a lot to do with it, but so does who you know. I'm very unlucky apparently.

Not to mention I listed all the items down already, so farming's systematic, and efficient. And yeah, what Xtopher is looking for is the hardest part of it. The thing I did with finding the NPCs was, find some before others could, and someone else found another one that I didn't find, I (or they) offered to trade information. It pays to have a lead!

This quest definitely teaches you the value of holding on to items you may otherwise feel are worthless. I feel that will help newbie farmers out greatly. And the thing about trading, I think everyone who has found the majority of the npcs had to do that... otherwise I feel it would have taken month(s).

They could find other people who are starting out as well though, but yeah, the information depreciates as more people know about it. People have found the first NPC (Baldr) within a few map guesses so it shouldn't be so hard. Edit: Apparently I'm lucky, hooray for 2nd Shield. Edited November 4, 2010 by Cirrus
