Cause all i see is "Sniper Bow This Stalker Bow That" If you think the sinx class need this increase then explain why. Explain Why doing 15k Sb + However manytimes it hits Is underpowered Cause the way i see it is When you can spam 4-5 And you take out 260k Hp Its not close to being under used. Stone curse + No reducts is the flaw Just Like its a flaw with other classes. Enlighten me on why this is so needed to fix the sinx class. Cause how i see it The new Daggers give Some spice to the class. Some of the updates where used to play classes different ways Not to just Op the shit outta a Class. So ill agree to this Post when i see full reasons on why this class needs this weapon so badly. I play sinx and hell i hate this post. So explain why you need this,
bankai` Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 I don't think it's a good idea to make these weapons 1 handed that will make sinx annoying to fight and yes my main is SinX don't want people to start complaining like what they did with the stalker soaring. Sonic blow is a stealth skill so it's meant to play stealth mode with alittle Demi-human reductions won't hurt.

I do admit you can die fast so a little reduction wont hurt maybe 10% since people never complained about it before only after the weps came out did people say hey i want this 1handed
maxlittle007 Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 Katar getting one handed is definately not a good idea.If a sinx wants redux let them switch to a dagger+shield ,simple as that.We cannot make every single aspect too convenient just because we want it that way.The server will lack more challenge and its a direct ticket to unstableness.Katar should never have redux either. A katar stats should be like this or atleast something similar to this. Two Handed Katar [4] str+ 20 dex+ 15 vit+ 20 20% more hp and sp Reduce casting delay by 10% 15% more damage on demi human monsters 5% chance to strip enemies armor and shield while doing melee damage.

They already have the capabilities to run enough. Reducing their cast delay is a no too in my book. Sonic blow should have a draw back, and it requiring a 2 hand weapon isn't enough. 4 kiels or 3 and 2 expert rings SHOULD be necessary, since a sinX can spam Sonic Blow like crazy and automatically cloak or hide, and win a berry war with it's enemy, I've seen it done. Also, they can already full strip an enemy with a Drill Katar, so I see that aspect of the suggestion being unnecessary. A donation, 2 hand Katar SHOULD have reductions and include an increase in damage, of possibly 10-15%? Not too much, but not too little that it isn't worth it.

Seeing this being a 2 hand weapon having a shield isn't option meaning any most neutral property attack will kill. Also if you're in range of any semi full asura cast you will die guranteed, even if you're the best at using cloak or back slide so this is why I suggested reduction over hp increase.

So you say Casting delay with kiel +expert rings Full strip with drill katar. The same way, IN MY BOOK use Fdagger+usakoring shield for reductions.And since they are two handed katars,they cant use usakoring shield so a little hp boost seems fine. And reductions on a katar is a sure NO.

SinX's are not a tanking class. They shouldn't have the 2nd highest HP on the server. Giving them even more health? No. Can't agree with that. nines, the reason why daggers are so popular on this server is because there aren't any other options really. Now I'm suggesting an option, this is why I posted this. The Katar also doesn't need full strip. I will agree with demihuman damage. I do feel that it does need a little of it. From what I have read, it seems as though most people want the SinX to be a one man machine who can one shot LKs and take the emp in 2 seconds. Come on guys, we're looking for balance. Not SinX's raping everything during WoE.

Miracle Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 I suggest 15% reductions. 10% is nearly nothing, and only half of what a Forsaken Shield on it's own can do. Katar-wielding Assassin's are easily beaten by magic classes who have the ability to dispell/uncloak/attack from afar, and are very susceptible to attacks due to their low amount of reductions. I agree that Assassin's are a big threat while wielding a Katar, but you have to also consider how vulnerable they can be as well seeing as they need to wear a minimum of 3 kiels to spam, usually 4, and take 55% more damage then someone else wearing a Forsaken Shield with an Usakoring Card. 15% is as good as wearing a Refined Deviling Hat/Santa Poring Hat, and would not be overpowered by any means.

That will hurt a lot especially sinx class needs immunity to stone curse. And seriously, making a katar having a default element which is fire is terrible. when people use fire resists= katar goes useless. man i know how to see things, it isnt even pro as it is. "who needs sand attack" its to make sinx make out with another style.

And giving the weapon with an element is a big nono if i were to say. you would be stuck with fire element with which u have stated. Like crit sinx no one has used that legit for a long time. so a grimtooth sinx with out thana would be a different class to play. And stonecurse is something that a sinx has to give up if you want to spam or go fsold + 3kiels And element is a no. Just use converters.

First of all stone curse is a no no this will make sinx way to easy to get kills without any disadvatages trust me I know a hand full of pro katar users and it's annoying and fire property for the weapon wouldn't a good idea because I can just counter with a jakk card and dmg will be reduce to dust so I disagree on this suggestion..
Rayray Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 the katar suggested is really good, but way too good. giving the katar an element makes sinx NOT use converters when needed which is a huge advantage. second, immunity to stone curse would make them invulnerable to most status that still affects 100+vit(freeze and stone curse). str and dex added is enough, add 15% reducts like miracle said. and probably one more effect that isn't OP for sinx.
