Angels&Demons Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 I don't know if it has been suggested yet, but is it possible to have an auto brewing NPC? Like the NPC asks you how many FCPs do you want then checks your inventory if you do have the correct amount of each item to brew for the total amount of FCPs you ask for. Since we can put 300 dex on our alchemist, our brew doesn't fail at all. It's just kind of a hassle to keep pressing pharmacy over and over again. It's so redundant. Makes life easier for those who are farming FCPs I guess.
maxlittle007 Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 Fcp tix has a good value in the economy. The reason is because, lot of players find it lazy to use pharmacy skill , they get tired using it over and over.If some one manages to make fcp tix by taking lot of effort, they are able to sell it for a good price. Fcp tix will lose its value if brewing npc is implemented.New players who farm fcp tix to gain Donation coupons will find it hard.
Adamxd Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 I find it fine, I'm the one who buys fcp tixes, so they'd be cheaper:)
Angels&Demons Posted September 27, 2010 Author Report Posted September 27, 2010 (edited) Pressing the pharmacy skill 500 times and pressing enter button 1000 times is a hassle. But the farming of the ingredients is much more of a hassle. Since people already did their part on farming for the said ingredients, wouldn't this NPC make their lives just a little bit easier? :thumbsup_still: Edited September 27, 2010 by Angels&Demons
Manifest Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 I'm not wholly disagreeing with the practicality of the suggestion, but I find it a bit unnecessary, for my part, I have made at one point more than two thousand Glistening Coats, but I just treat it as part of the process. I'm no coder, so I wouldn't know if it's possible to "brew" but more of like trading what you have via an item count for x amount of Coats. All in all, providing a script or giving an idea how would help your suggestion, since our coders are very busy.
Rayray Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 not needed at the time. most of us find it fine anyway.
Angels&Demons Posted September 27, 2010 Author Report Posted September 27, 2010 I'm no coder, so I wouldn't really know how to do it. I'm thinking it's more like the tickets npc of fRO. Asks you how much you want, then checks if you have the items needed to get that amount. I've been farming FCP tickets to sell, and farming the required items is hard enough, but having to press pharmacy skill and enter for so many times... GAH! I don't know how else to put it. Sorry.
nines Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 (edited) So your suggesting something along the lines like this Insert the amount of glistening coats you want made, npc deletes ur mats for the required amount and creates the bottles for you?. Wouldn't lower the eco? Dunno why someone said that just cause u dun gotta do a skill doesn't mean you don't have to farm the mats. Seems like a good idea. Should also have one for elemental converters. Edited September 27, 2010 by nines
Angels&Demons Posted September 28, 2010 Author Report Posted September 28, 2010 Exactly like Nines said. It's just to help the players a wee bit. >.< Having to farm heart of mermaids is a real pain to be honest.
Veracity Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 When suggesting things, ya'll need to take into consideration a) how difficult it is to do what you're suggesting b) if what you're suggesting is worth that amount of effort. This really doesn't seem necessary at all, it just seems like a lot of players are lazy and keep suggesting things because they don't want to have to work hard at anything. Yes, I know it would still require farming the items, but there are just so many suggestions like this... I understand it's annoying, but really. There are much more important things that should be considered/suggested/worked on.
Veracity Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 Since no one has argued the importance of this suggestion since my last post I'm going to reject this. It would require quite a bit of work to do and is not really necessary in the first place, so... - Rejected -
