A Funny Equip

Well recently i just noticed a new equip used by baby super novice.Its a Bunny doll and it looks great.

I was just wondering,why not make a similar equip that looks like a Pillow LOOL.Players can whack each other players using pillows.Girls using that will be damm funny LMAO.

It can be under donated weapons,and gms can give their desired stats.That equip can be used by gypsies/champ or any job class that the gm prefers.

Its just a small suggestion to make the server more funny and entertaining.People please give your comments on this.

If the gms are able to make a pillow sprite from the screenshot ,it will be great.

They can also make it realistic by giving some graphics like feathers flying around them when they are fighting or when they are in action.Forsaken ro has talented spriters ,so they can make a pillow sprite.

Weapon sprites have a lot of frames. You don't just take a screenshot and make it into an spr.

You have to consider the classes attack animations and all 9 angles for it, then animate it.

Colors, I guess the usual ? Emperium aura matching colors, or just a while one. Cause white looks okay with 95% of all looks.

You dont have to teach me that,i know that more than you do.I am a spriter myself.

I was just showing the basic structure of how a pillow looks in ro.Because pillow is a new equip.I doubt other servers even have such a thing.

The purpose of screenshot is to give a small idea on how it really looks.The GMs will decide whether the sprite is hard or not.We dont have the right to tell them its hard so abandon it.

And please dont talk like your the one incharge of all the sprites in forsaken ro[no offence].

I was just pointing out that creating a quality weapon sprite (like the ones that Sae has created) takes a lot of work.

The GMs can decide whether it will be hard or not, but since there is no spriter on the staff, it would fall on players/spriters like you or Desi to make it.

I think they'll be more willing to accept a suggestion like this when they see a sprite that's already made and ready to use.

All the new Valkyrie weapons were sprited by a third-party spriter named Sae. She doesn't work for this server, so you can't just suggest new weapons and assume she would make them. She's only made a handful so far, which is why some classes don't have new weapons.

If the sprite hasn't been made yet, it's harder to get a suggestion like this implemented.

If those words are from a head GM or any other GM ,then it would make sense.How do you know there arent any spriters in the gm team?And if you say if your one of the gm team,then you should have answered with your GM forum account.

First of all i dont even know who sae really is.Its from your post i realize and non gm person actually made those sprites.How can i suggest to someone who i dont even know about?

This suggestion is for genesis.If he accepts this suggestion,he would ask the gms under him to implement it or he himself would do something about it.That is the reason why we even post a suggestion.And gms dont force players into making sprites :huh:

There's all your weapons for you.

And no, Genesis cannot force players to make sprites, but he can't implement a weapon without a sprite. And no, you can't tell Sae to make sprites exclusively for this server.

All my posts are saying, provide an .spr and .act file before they can accept this suggestion. It doesn't have to be from you, but they can't possibly implement a suggestion like this without a sprite, since your suggestion specifically calls out for a weapon that looks like a pillow.

They can make a pillow weapon much like they made elite weapons without sprites, but since you want to visually see the sprite in game, they need an .spr and .act.

Sorry i thought you were a GM.Besides your comments were more like it was from a GM.

And yes you are right,he cant implement a weapon without a sprite.But that doesnt mean he cant appoint someone to do it.

If the gm thinks its bad,let him reject this suggestion.At the same time,if he feels this suggestion is good/possible to do it,let him accept it.

Well, if you can find someone to sprite this then I'll agree to it. I think if it would be better if it was a quest item than a donation item.

Something like:

xxxx fluff

xxxx feather

xxx harpy feather

xxx peco peco feather

xxx fabric

+10% hp/sp

.05% chance of coma

5% chance of casting decrease agility when hit

5% chance of inflicting "Sleep" status on enemy

There may be more pressing issues to our development team atm though, even the current donation weapons aren't perfected or completely fixed.
