Ethereal Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 Personally not a big fan of teal myself, but I like it. IMO, it looks a lot better than the current one in-game. Although I think the teal should be a little lighter, but that's my opinion.

Also, it's fine to recolor and create new items and ask them to be criticized, it is not okay to recolor items that we already have ingame to make them "better"; if I believed they needed to be better then I'd ask our spriter to fix them. And that's exactly what I did, I recolored items to ask them to be criticized. I didn't in anyway recolor items that we already had in-game to make them 'better.' There are similarities between the current one in-game and mine, but that does not mean that I edited the one we had in-game. My intention was to simply make something similar to it, and better in my opinion. Sprite editing is different from sprite editing to change the sprite of something is different because sprite editing affects your spam. While changing a sprite has no effect at all. Plus, the files to replace a headgear has nothing to do with sprite editing to help you spam better. They both have completely different files. In your topic you said "mine/current" with a screenshot of yourself in game wearing it, which is why I questioned where you got an unreleased Valkyrie helm from. I clearly stated that they are two different things. I've been doing this since February 2004, you've been doing this for maybe 1/2 year? I think I'd know the difference better than you would. I don't think you should be perusing around the client specially seeing as you got banned for sprite editing. Any and all amateur (read the definition [1] of the word here) spriters are welcome to recolor and recreate new items to be criticized, they are not allowed to add them to their clients or recolor sprites that have already been done by our staff (past or present) that is called undermining.

If I catch anyone doing this I won't warn them like I am doing now, we will ban them. I'm not putting anything off, the people posting in this topic are some of the people doing it. Someone in specific was bragging about a "secret" sprite replacement for the Rune Aurora. Just because you do it over PM or spread it on MSN doesn't mean it's secret, and it doesn't mean I won't know about it. Thank you for your cooperation.
