sessions Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 For some classes zodiac gives slight damage bonuses. And depending on your hp modifiers you MAY have more hp than someone with an emp. BUT overall emp is better. Especially on a class that needs just 150 dex, 195 aspd and whatnot. 5 less to 150 and 5 less to 195 aspd make more of a difference than you think. That and emp looks better and that is really all that matters.

If that 5% was indeed to rc_boss and rc_nonboss, like a Turtle General / Valkyrie Randgris bonus, Zodiac aura is a choice for more damage oriented builds. Also, RoP's 8% more HP is most of the time worse than +5 VIT from Emp (which in turn you save points from other stats, therefore being able to put more in VIT itself), so how do you compare Zodiac's 5%? Remember that %s take from BASE HP, and in this server base HPs are kinda low. The only real classes that would benefit from the %HP are the ones who have high base HP already, and those who use high VIT builds, perhaps. People who do and test a lot of builds have better credibility than those who just do baseless assumptions without hard facts. I have Emps, does that mean I'll be inclined towards it? I can buy all the colors of Zodiacs if it was indeed better but I choose not to.

But just looking at the math I'm inclined to agree with Sessions here. You're dealing with percentages so it really just depends on your build... certain builds would make zodiac better but I feel emp is a better all around piece of equipment. Don't underestimate the benefits of +5 all stats... Looks really don't matter to me... I'll wear a gree/brown poopoo hat if it gives enough stats.

Doesn't really matter which Aura is better. Whichever suits them best, really. I seen a couple of DAura users pwning Emp wearing Users. Lol it is funny
