Elimination Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Hey guys recently I've been seeing a drop in events being held(maybe just my timezone) and also that when it is held it's either lms,nd lms or warp portal. Wat happend to dice, scavenger hunt, scramble, guess the monster and the probly my fav the one where there are 2 gm teams. Idk maybe it's just me what u guys think??
Soop Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 eh yeah i noticed it too. I play pretty much nights only so its like 10-11pm to bout 6:30 am and on average i see one or two events, and they are all the same as listed above. I dunno if its the times i play but i miss dice. Also what ever happened to true or false that event was sweet! And as far as lms and nd lms, i sux at lms andim not eligible for nd lms anymore so it would be cool to bring the dice back QQ its my favorite :) (wp is cool too)
Hannah Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 I agree with dis... It's always LMS or ND LMS or those kinda events that are only for strong pro people, and for me (a n00b) it is literally impossible to win these kind of events. Dice is actually on a lot; Noir always host a lot of Dice events so it's good. In my opinion, I think that HIDE & SEEK is the one that's never on anymore and that's my favorite event of all time. :( Warp Portal... not really hosted as much but still happening. I miss Scramble and H&S a lot that I even host the event myself; it's as fun as playing. ^^ There are usually one or no events happening while I am on, and having two or more is rare. :3
Ryuk Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Most of the time I host dice or warp portal. I'll see if I can trow in some H&S since it seems people are longin for those again :3.
Perishable Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Scavenger Hunt, Password Event, Novice Dodgeball, and N-D Survival too please?
Shono Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Scavenger Hunt, Password Event, Novice Dodgeball, and N-D Survival too please? what he said ;3
Hannah Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Lol, I have only played one event of Novice Dodgeball in all of my Ragnarok Life. :3 And Ryuk, that H&S event was cool man, two people won in 5 rounds, haha. I was lookin all over da place. -_-
Rune Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Dice is still hosted quite often. ND-Survival usually has a formidable number of 3~4 participants median. Scavenger hunt takes a lot of available time. A good scavenger hunt takes one hour minimum, and many GMs can't stay too much straight. Password and Scramble requires a bit of cooperation from players, which in game is a bit hard to obtain, what takes motivation out of GMs to host it. Novice Dodgeball's NPC is still broken, to host it effectively two or more GMs are required then we bump into the same problem of LTS. Hide&Seek, I for one loved hosting it, but the amount of discouragement we get from the never ending complains("too easy!" & "too hard!" for exemple) makes it frustrating sometimes; the more frustration on one GM during an event, the slimmer the chances of that GM hosting it again. In the long run we get more inclined to host events with easier management. But thank you for the topic. A bit of enthusiasm from players is always great incentive for us to try and entertain the community with something different.
bloodymaria Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 what's the exact time this events are done? timezone?

But in all I do feel some symphathy for u guys :D
Adamxd Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 I tihnk GMs are living in same time zones, and there is a hole in hosting events. Dice is really often hosted. Yea Novice DODgeball event please.
Hannah Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 what's the exact time this events are done? timezone? There is no exact time really, GMs host events when they are available and have free time. They can host any event at any time.
