Masahiro Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 (edited) OK, at this time ive seen almost 80% of the recent suggestions say this class should have a dagger and this 1 should have a dagger well i propose why not make an all purpose Forsaken Knife Lol an example of what this can do is enlarge weight limit 10 Lol plus 5 str/ dex w/e basically just a STEP up from the npc main gauche with its own e.wep quest and similar type attributes it may do different things for different classes like tao does when u read its description but i think this all purpose weapon may solve the impending crisis' as seen by the majority of other classes. Swell idea, but I see no impending crisis. There are other higher priority suggestions that should be implemented before this.

Apparently, he wants it like an enhanced main gauge- thus, Sinx would be able to equip both, rendering it superior to their own Forsaken elite daggers.
Masahiro Posted May 12, 2010 Author Report Posted May 12, 2010 (edited) Lolol no guys i said the details of the knife as randomly as it came to mind, i just mean::::: the existence of a dagger that is superior to the npc dagger that any and all classes use, and i only said dagger for the "aparant universal use" it can be anything w/e wep as long as all and i mean aLL classes can use it. its just something to use thats better than the npc weapon hahaha and also the enlarge weightlimit can work for specific classes and not all e.g : [swordman, Merchant, Thief Class] STR + 2, Maximum HP + 5% [Mage, Acolyte, Archer Class] INT + 2, Maximum SP + 5% n.b!..!.! the above is just an example of what i meant not actual stats im suggesting lol, im not sure about the stats i just threw this out there for debate so every1 can add in their own input with this the goal of this is just a universal weapon that can solve all the previous class problems like the sniper issue and others etc so it doesnt have the be a "knife" just equippable by all say i hav a wep with 3 d.wars and 1 valk i just pass tht wep to any of my existing classes no sweat coupled with the "knife's" ability to do different things for different classes. just call it bundling the call for new weapns that people speak up they are in need for e.g sniper and star glad, clown and prof x.x etc Edited May 12, 2010 by Masahiro

Groxy Drank Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 (edited) Ok what I understand from this topic is that this "Weapon" will be just as a support weapon not meant exactly for PvP, so what I think is that this weapon wont have Over Powered buffs for any class... What he meant for Universal is that it can wear by any class. This could reduce the time you take De-carding to change from one class to another. This also could solve problems like droppable items, I mean that maybe you use a Main Gauche for anything you want for example "Strip, Coma, Freeze or whatever" and as you know the Main Gauche can be dropped but this Weapon thats suggested here can't, so you can't accidentally drop it and you don't have to worry about having to hunt for the cards again. Like November Thunder said before that the Sinx would carry 1k seeds and stuff, I think thats not what the poster means because if you keep reading "It's supposed have different effects for each class" so we can just say that we could take that Lvl 10 Enlarge weight limit from Sinx and there I think thats problem solved. What I mean is that this so called "Universal Weapon" is not meant to Over Power any class but to support and help in some cases, like the classes that really need the lvl 10 Enlarge weight limit. And as stated before the effects of this weapon are meant to be different for each class. I think that with some common sense this weapon could get balanced for every class and at the same time not Over Powered... We are not trying to make a weapon with more effects or buff than the existing elite weapons, its just to help in certain situations. Edited May 12, 2010 by Rangdyrok

supream Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 (edited) i support this 100%. it was stated somewhere under the new fking set post where they wanted to make more weapons custom to the class like scarf. everyone can wear it and they get special benefits defined by their class. also, this will help classes like snipers who take off thier weapon to swtich to dagger and become 90% over weight and cant attack.
